Awsome man. Can't wait to start my Thranddadys halls army. That kid definitely had plot armour that was nuts. Also forgot to say the tournament I ended up taking Lothlorien coz i couldnt find my rivendel and got 6th 😀. Took your advice and just took a tonne of elf infantry.
It’s a really fun army - the buffs around Thranduil are awesome! And yeah - that damned kid was ridiculous… it was like watching a TV show where you know they’re in the 2nd season and can’t die ;) Well done bud! 6th is a really good position - especially with Lothlorien, spot on! What armies did you face?
@@tabletopramblings5896 Hahah Yeh Especially when Rit rolled 22s and a 1 that was unreal. 10-0 win domination vs Numenor. 0-10 loss seize the prize vs goblin town 12-0 win Lords of battle vs khazad The goblin town game was against one of Scotlands national players I was on the top table after my first win lol. Was just nothing I could do vs that army that I could see just a rubbish match up(nothing to do with him being one of the best players in scotland :P).
Mate that’s an incredible effort - 2 solid wins against strong armies. The loss against Goblin Town is almost guaranteed in anything objective based. They are pure filth :)
Great battle report so far! In the process of painting up my emperor. Worth noting that Rutabi doesn't have an Elven blade as you've mentioned a couple of times. She is F6, but doesn't have the elven blade unlike the emperor and amdur. Didn't affect anything but just for awareness. :)

I've wondered if Rutabi actually has a place in this army. She got a great Stateline, but the emperor wants bodies, and the free black dragon wants dragon knights, and March is quite nice (as is the hand and a half axe)
I have thought the same thing - expect that she gives you board control, having a strong hero who can survive away from the safety of the Emperor. And her might is really nice - 3 and master of battle is really good. But I get what you’re saying about bodies. A captain and body spam or a knight and more BDs. It almost feels like 800 points would be a better fit for this legion so you could do both?
She definitely does . She is the hero you can send off away from the emps and be a beast somewhere else on the board . She has value but I do see where your coming from for sure.
My thoughts exactly Joe. It’s useful to have that option for board control. I guess the main thing is what points level to bring her in? This particular 650 list doesn’t feel quite right due to the model count and warband spread. Maybe she’d fit better at high points to get more guys to help her perform her role?
Yeah I think so too. Although then you run into another problem: might. Only 8 might (plus 3+ master of battle) at 800 is low. Would you be able to fit the 3 named hero’s and a captain/dragon knight in at 800 and still have competitive numbers?
It is pretty loud around the 5 mins mark, sorry buddy. That’s my favourite of the different tracks so I’ve obviously got carried away when editing! ;) I’ll make sure it’s mixed a bit better next time mate
@@tabletopramblings5896 have You tried to put a hard compressor on your table audio and a Soft one the music ? That might help you achieving an overall more even Sound and less micromanaging the whole 1 hour of sound.
I have no idea what any of that means :) I’ll have to look into that - it sounds very technical! I literally go through each audio track and manually balance the volume of the voice and music, it does take a wee while! If there’s a magic way to do it that would save a fair bit of time :)

At like 5:00 the music was louder than your opponent, it's really hard to tell what he's saying.
