I can relate to the IG stuff. At this point of me starting on the platform in 2016 to now I'm not even posting anymore. I thought it was a sort of therapy for me to keep expressing myself and sort of paying back into ppl who took a chance on me in my younger years.. Now I'm realizing I will alway be creative and just don't need the emotional falsehood of reaching ppl. I like your idea of you investing back into yourself and sticking with the same tooling to keep the creative interface simple. keep up the great work. You have a new sub!
Agreed, I started in 2013 and it was always a place to connect but the way in which the TikTok mannerisms crept into meta’s instagram tactics, meant everything was becoming incredibly fast paced and throw away. Creating sustainable and intentional work is my focus. Removing social media from my everyday has been a huge shift and helped incredibly with my mindset and focus on other tasks!
