Very often. I didn't commute but I converted my 125 and had to replace the the rings every 2 weeks. ( I took 100 mile rides on weekends with some friends) The 380 might hold up better because you don't have to run it out. Keep the rpms lows and you should be fine. BTW ALWAYS HAVE 2 STROKE OIL IN YOUR BAG!! I got stuck without it once and ended up having to dump a ton of Marvel mystery oil in the tank to get home without seizing. lol Hope this helps.

How much bake break did you use? If any? Was this all throttle control and engine friction/engine brake? Wie viel backen Pause hast du benutzt? Wenn überhaupt? War das alles Gashebel und Motorreibung / Motorbremse?

Das is der vorteil einer 2-takt Ktm händler meinte man soll öl bis Max auffüllen wenn man längere wheelies fährt. Bis jetzt noch keine Probleme gehabt aber ich mach auch keine 4 min wheelies :-D
Ich hab von dem Clubhaus schon öfters was gehört und ich glaub ne alte mitschülerin von mir (fährt ne 125er varadero) und ihr dad sind da dabei :D so n treffen wär verdammt cool und ich hätte auch n haufen kumpels die auf sowas bock hätten, aber wir haben hald noch alle zum größten teil 125er :( weis nicht ob das was ausmacht?

On these big cc 2 strokes have the powerband much lower than on 50-125cc, so u dont have to rip the bike all the time
