This is so beautiful 😍 Thank you for being such a kind soul, to take this poor guy in and help it. He looks so chill, he is definitely thankful you picked him up. 💗 Nicely done sir ❤
This HERO did the RIGHT thing!! This bird could have died! And this wonderful man risked everything to rescue this National Treasure!! Thank You for what you did!!😊😊
The fact the bird sits there motionless tells the tale. And no, birds do not KNOW that we are there to help them, they are not being aggressive because they are down. those talons are killers and he is not even flexing. Poor thing thank you for getting this eagle to safety.
Yep, he was that close to death. It wasn't trust, it was pure exhaustion and "I'm done, this is over". He probably only lived because he dried out with 10 minutes to spare.
I KNOW!!! He was just DONE! He had no energy left, and was just accepting his fate. The fact that his rescuer was able to handle him that long had me scratching my head. Not even a token struggle or attempted bite? I really didn't think he would be healthy enough to be released back into the wild. It's a Miracle!!!
@@SilverAuntie And I'm glad he recognized that too. A lot of these videos have a person claiming that the animal trusted them due to how calm they were, but people who are more familiar with wildlife understand that an animal being calm when being handled is BAD sign. They should be fighting tooth and nail to get away, and if they aren't, it's because they can't, and that means they're close to death. And this guy knew that.
@@ShadeSlayer1911 He seems to be a rather good rescuer of these birds, but when I saw the man;s hand RIGHT underneath those talons I was nervous. Used to work with raptors, and we were always trained to manage the feet FIRST.
@@shiboof I've never worked with raptors myself, but every person I've met who has has always said to control the feet first. Those are killing talons, and they can do a number on your arms if you aren't careful. They can give you nasty infections too. He might've just lacked the experience here, but this bird was also just way too down to be doing any damage. Still, you can see the professional at the raptor center control the legs, regardless of how weak the animal is currently.
Seeing it flying, floating in the wind, wings spread, not only so graceful, but it's stunning to see it's return to the wild..... It was almost like a fly by, her way of saying thank you for saving me...
