Thank you for the wizardry to make this sound as good as it does, Jon. This band was so great, one of the best. Even as many times as I was able to see them play, it was not enough. And I miss michael.

Absolutely one of my favorite bands of all time. Interesting lyrics, incredible playing by all three members. I'd rank Andy Cohen's playing as some of the best I've ever heard. I just love his ideas, technique and willingness to go "out there". Obviously all these guys are great. RIP Michael. Go out and listen to Bottomless Pit, Mint Mile, and Deep Tunnel Project, all great projects with Tim.
God these guys were so good. I saw them once - Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge. Probably the best show I've been to in my life. Michael was shirtless, wearing work gloves and beating the shit out of his drums like they owed him money. Andy and Tim were tearing through the catalog. A noisy, aggressive version of "Drunk" was the highlight. I'd saw off my right arm to see them again. Alas...
Mucho gracias for this! What a great memory of a great show from the great Silkworm. Andy Cohen was a huge influence on my tone. Words can't express how happy I am I searched for Silworm today. 🤘🏼
this is glorious! seeing your favorite rock band be gracious and goofy...replete with the subplot of watching a video of yourself dancing from behind for an entire concert. almost looks synchronized with Heather...i wish there was more footage at the end so I could find out who came up and kissed me onstage when I was selling merch - as good a show as there can be
Thank you so much for this. I always wanted to record their shows at the Crocodile in Seattle in the late 90s, but never had the guts. Saw so many incredible shows with about 25 people in the audience. Love this band so much.
If anyone happens to have any video of the double door performance earlier this year, please find and post. Michael’s wearing green vinyl pants. It’s worth asking Thanks
A beautiful slice of history

This is making me very happy. I miss this band.
And what a drummer.

I saw the band live in Germany in 1996 and it was amazing. That was the Matador-Tour with Spoon and GbV. I will never forget that!
Absolutely Rips. So happy the internet exists. Love this foreverrrrrr
What a show!!!
Great document. Classic Silkworm, just totally in sync and feeling it.

I remember this show. Thank you so much for sharing. No I can relive this any time I want to.
I am an old man and could not stay up, but it is making my early work morning great. Thanks for the video.

damn, I'm going to have start start hitting the drums harder -- Michael was great. well done for dragging this out of the archives.

great recording and video. seems just like yesterday.
What an incredible setlist. This is something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Amazing!
God damn they could absolutely cook
I swear to God Andy’s among the best guitarists out there. Him. Neil Hagerty and Malkmus. He shreds Tarnished Angel.

It’s worth asking
Thanks
Would love to see that.
Michael is unreal on “never met a man”
The hebrew hendrix
I will be here live to watch. Will the video stay up after the 9th or is it a one-off thing? Thanks.
Do not fret, it will stay up after the 9th!
@@ComedyMinusOne Thanks!
Not Crap!
this is such a long shot but anyone here in the Bay Area and play drums or bass?
I can play both, although I'm definitely not the best
