This winter ambient music is just beautiful and perfect for the moment. Was actually supposed to be to work today but got to stay home because of the storm going on and bad road conditions. So just enjoying the music, my coffee, and the view outside, until it gets too dark to see. Then I suppose, will have to get bundled up and go out and shovel the driveway before it gets too deep to shovel all at once... They are saying anything from 6 to 9 inches by midnight.
Or as a cold wind blows in face or as in a snowy forest there is complete silence. This is magical and mesmerizing. Snow always. Snow forever. Winter too.
I like that this isn't cozy or warm. I'm writing a story, and i'm currently at a part where it is cold and frozen and very not good. This fits the tone very well. Thanks!

I wish people would grow more comfortable with the idea that dark, haunting sounds have a beauty to them that needs no work to appreciate. It's so... relaxing...

Beckoning you to stay; even against your better judgement and awareness of the cold, the absence of heat. Pulling you into the Void of Stillness, where nothing moves.
Currently playing Skyrim SE. So satisfying. I want Cryo Chamber music to be imported to Skyrim but alas, it's licensed. Looking forward to buying the tracks though :D
Do you prefer Morrowind? I couldn't get into Arena or Daggerfall too much. Morrowind though... It was an addiction. Oblivion was an obsession. Skyrim was good, but it pales in comparison to its elder brethren.
There are som glimpses of brilliance here, see Randal Collier Ford, he sounds like Matt Borghi, other then that It's your standard boring ambient sound.
Ron, I belive that >good< ambient is much more than a background sounds - when discovering the genre, you might find that ambient might be actually a demanding music which unravels its full beauty with repeated, focused listens. An unique sonic experience unlike anything that other genres might offer - sometimes akin to reading a good book, as it often tells a good story.
