- The 23-Year-Old Solving Nigeria's Electricity Problem is a video is another episode of my promoting Africa series where I feature black entrepreneurs all across Africa who have built successful businesses and they tell us how they did it.
Today's episode is Edet who is a Nigerian entrepreneur who has built a successful Solar Energy Company called Power Sup at 23. He tells us about how he was able to build his business in Akwa Ibom and some of the challenges he has faced on his entrepreneurial journey.

This guy is a national treasure. Who says Africans can't be resourceful, The guy needs funding which is the major thing that young great minds lack in Africa.

Funding to scale and also research so he can make more powerful batteries.
I have always been interested in funding a tech start up at least to my capacity, but i have not heard or seen of a platform that gives a structure to that type of venture, only ones that require a huge capital.

We Africans have highest youth population in the World today and many are innovative. Kudos to another innovative Nigerian brother who is tackling his nations power challenges. In Zimbabwe an inventor has come up with a TV set that powers itself, it does not need any power point,it is powered with radio frequency. He also invented a car that does not need fuel .Its great to see African youths shining coz it's their time.

I love this so much you don't understand how inspiring this to young africans. Every day we work towards our dreams and this is powerful. I'm 17 years old and I started a business in 2020 and I love that there are more young Africans following their dreams and working towards them. So inspirational Tayo Aina is so underrated.
