    I’d really love to have one of these for my kel tec, just hard justifying $200 for it. Absolutely awesome idea though. I’ll be saving the webpage for sure. When and if all this craziness dies down I’ll pick one up.

      Thanks for the view and the comment.
      Yes sir, they are on the spendy side due to the cost of pieces and parts and shipping etc.
      I'm afraid the craziness is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.
      Let me know its you if you decide to order one up and I will send you a gummy bear plate (absolutely necessary plate) as a free bonus to sweeten the deal for you.

    Great design holster! I noticed you have a kel tec angled grip on one of the sub2000. How did it fit? Was there a gap in the middle once installed?

    • @amorepreparedlife4557
      @amorepreparedlife4557  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ariel,
      That particular grip works perfectly with the system. It is possible that there may be a setup that doesnt work with this system since there are so many out there but so far we havent had any reported to us.
      We have LOTS of these selling through our gun store partners for wall mount systems for the Keltecs and AR platforms as well. Seems to be a LOT of people wanting to keep their platform of choice right at hand next to the couch/bed/mantle etc...

    Not sure id carry something like that strapped to my leg all the time, a handgun would be far faster to draw and be less intrusive. Seems like it would be perfect for an ATV/UTV mount however and a long gun is obviously far more effective for any situation where you have a little more time to react.

    • @amorepreparedlife4557
      @amorepreparedlife4557  ปีที่แล้ว

      MyVids,
      We do indeed have lots of folks who mount them in the side by sides.
      And, you are correct. This one isn't a fast draw rig.
      For the rig that lets you carry a long gun, including a SBR or a M4 Platform and draw much faster, check out the GateKeeper and Gatekeeper Jr devices on the T2GCustomProducts.com website. TH-cam video links are there for those...

    Wow what model rokon is that!! Thanks!

    • @amorepreparedlife4557
      @amorepreparedlife4557  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      that one is the Rokon Trailbreaker... It is on their website under "Rokons for Hunters"
      We added a few modifications to it and it has the trailer hitch.
      This one is maybe 4 years old... We have an older (1970's model I dont recall the year) and it is a 2 stroke. Believe it or don't, we like the 2 stroke arguably better... We got the older one for $2500 and the new one was like $8500 and we argue all the time about whether the new one was worth the extra money. The new one made it into the video though because it is prettier for camera.
      I can tell you that we dont ride them a whole lot though because they are a TON of work to ride. After a day of crashing through the woods on these things you can skip the trip to the gym for a couple of days because you are completely smoked. They are cool and they go almost anywhere though.
      Thanks for the view and the comment!
      Have a super week!

    I love my Sub-2K but I can't imagine any scenario where a holster for it would be useful. It's not great for defensive situations where you might have to deploy a firearm FAST, like a wild animal attack. No bear or cougar is going to sit around and wait for you to unfold your gun and rack a round if they've decided to go after you. 9mm and .40 are weak for these applications anyway. You're better off with a long-barrel .357, .44, or 10mm pistol, or an actual long gun if you're that worried about it.

      Hey, Thanks for the interest in our Holster! We agree its very cool! Your correct, all those factors play a role in our price point per unit. However, we have many factors that play a role in the cost. Just to name a few factors For example; sales tax, life time warranties, no questions asked refund policy and many more factors that go into running a business. Running a business is expensive! Again, thank you for checking out our video and I Hope you a great day! :)

      You gotta understand that R&D as well as market forces such as demand help inform prices, right?

    • @amorepreparedlife4557
      @amorepreparedlife4557  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@innercityprepper Yes sir, There is a whole world of difference coming to reality with Made in America products, hand made quality, and the crazy inflation going on.
      The truth is that the genuine premium fasteners cost a lot of money, there are a pile of fancy screws and eyelets involved and they are not one penny items either. Then there is an expensive CNC machine involved in the manufacturing process because the holes need to be made with a lot of precision or the three layers of kydex will never be able to be joined together.
      In addition, every single one is made by hand. These are not an injection molded commodity so that kind of pricing just isn't an option.
      What we can tell you is that from the moment that you put your hands on these things you will say... wow... this is quality stuff.

      Polarity,
      Now, I'm with you in that I'm not a big fan of the 9... But...
      Believe it or not the longer barrel keeping the bang behind the bullet is a big deal we are piercing 55 gallon drums easily AND... we are ringing the gong consistently at 150 yards!!!
      I would have NO problem putting this in my archery "bear stand" as backup. No problem at all.
      Now understand, we have black bears where I live and not Browns etc...

    So not useful. And he needs to stop saying that part that covers the barrel and all is absolutely necessary. It isn't. Ita at best a want not a need and what dummy is trying to carry a 4lb weapon on their leg. That's why we purchased the sub2000 not to open carry but conceal it in a backpack.
