I did it, try and make a down payment for your first year, including tuition and accomodation. This will set you up to be able to pay for your Tuition the next year your self. If I did it, you can do it !

Thank you so much for this information..... I got my admission in July into the U of M and applied for my visa and I was invited for my medicals next month 😊.... This is exactly what I discussed with my parents that it’s better to pay the first year bills and save up for the next year

Let’s keep it real,Canada like every other country,has its bitter sweet moments. They’re intertwined unfortunately. Our mindset must be conditioned to the fact that,Canada is no different from Nigeria,with regards to planning,hustle and having certain leverages. Opportunities are clearly what puts Canada 🇨🇦 way ahead of Nigeria. To sum it up,please work towards going to Canada or any other opportunity driven country,but as you do so,have a survival plan (at least till you can find your feet in that new country),whether as a student or an immigrant.

Currently as an international student you can work unlimited hours. This tuition thing is best if you’ve paid for your first semester that way it gives you more time to pay for the next and that goes on. I strongly believe in working smartly and not always hardcore. Anybody can pay if you put your mind to it and being organised but remember your sole purpose is to study and that should be the top of your list
Hi, thanks for watching. I uploaded a video on the update for working as an international student as soon as it was announced. But like I said in this video, it’s not easy. Even if you pay your first semester fees, you don’t have enough time to work and make enough money that could take care of the next semester’s expenses. BUT if you can take care of the first year’s school expenses before getting a job in Canada, then it’s possible to work and save for the second year.

You’re absolutely correct! BUT as a full time student, you’re allowed to take a minimum of 3 courses. Also, other fees will be added so you’re not paying for only the courses. Those are the things that increase the fees.
