I have no idea why this was put in the Danceoff. As Shirley said they covered all the advance level Samba syllabus and executed so well. This is as good as proAM comp.
FINALLY some pure dancing! no shenanigans for 40 sec in the beginning to save time, like others did🤨

This was a wonderful performance and I voted for it. Kym danced very well in what is usually a difficult Rhythm. Lovely choreo Graziano.
Samba is very difficult , i thought Kim did very well and she always looks like she's having fun which is why she's enjoyable to watch 🙂👏🎶.
Brilliant choreography from Graziano in the samba proper samba rolls and proper samba music.
I agree. I thought that Graziano tailored the choreography perfectly for the slightly 'retro' styling of the dance. A more 'old school' samba and really well-danced (if, perhaps, lacking a little bounce sometimes). I don't necessarily think it was under-marked but certainly under-appreciated, and it didn't deserve to be in the bottom two.
This was really good! Everyone knows the samba is hard and she made it look easy!

Kym and Graziano didn't deserve to be in dance-off, this samba is one of the best and I think this deserve at least all 9's, for me it's a 10 👏
Loved all the changes of tempo, thought she looked very comfortable in this dance which is a hard thing for the female celebs to achieve. Strictly is a marathon, not a sprint, and Kym is slowly improving each week. Can see her making Blackpool at the very least.

That took me back to my childhood -- Kym looked exactly like every mom at every quinceanera when this song comes on early in the night. (She'd have needed about five more martinis to look like the moms when this comes on at the end of the night though.)
Oh please! Most “mums” aren’t slim and toned like this.
I think they meant more like the attitude and joy Latina mums have when celebrating their babies’ Quinceaneras. Taking them back to their own. Especially as this song is played at most, more than once. I don’t think it was meant on a surface level of looks/figure. As an aside: I’m so glad our friends across the pond enjoy watching Strictly!
@@kateoconnor9280 awww yes, makes more sense! I thought they were making a disparaging comment, saying that Kim looked like an average mum getting up at a party and having a wiggle. And they were being snide about her looks.
Kym is smashing and wowed here. She pulled it off.
I would have scored the dance 8, but I would always score Kym 10. She is so lovely.

Best samba of the series by a country mile (the bar's been pretty low). Kym kept up with the rhythm changes excellently and there was lots of good technique with bounce and I do love a good samba roll. Just want a little more softness and intention to amplify everything that was good. 7

It was better than I thought it would be! I thought she held back slightly however. She coped with all the steps very well but I just felt like it was missing a bit of oomph. She's a good technical dancer though.

Graziano reminded me of Puss in Boots Tony as cabin crew and baggage handling in the early nineties with Skelton. I love Gypsy Kings music and especially Djoba Djoba with Skelton and I practicing ballet and aerobics class with Gerry Hamza 😂 it also reminded me of Georgia and Gio and Tyler from Stay Close sitting in bars and restaurants listening to this music in the early nineties. The music lifts the spirit of the soul! I thought they were fantastic dancers.

Well I enjoyed this, her reverse roll was really good and she has such verve and rhythym it was so good. Kym has very clean and neat movements which is great but sometimes it makes it look a tad prim and proper which in Latin you need to go mad and sometimes shes abit reserved but apart from that her technique was on point, good hip action and an amazing attempt at a very difficult dance. Everybody is really bringing it to the table tonight it's just wow 🤩🤩🤩. Timing was on point and all the quick rhythm changes were nice, I really enjoyed her solo sections too. For me I wasn't the biggest fan of the theming which I think let her down abit, the song doesn't suit them, different when Georgia did this back in 2015 because she was very speedy and a flashy dancer where as Kym is more sort of a precise and technical dancer but not as showy. I enjoyed it and I look forward to their Quickstep ^.^

Kym did so well, being the best glamorous grannie on Strictly and showing others how its done, sorry you had to go. There are a couple of others who should have gone before you, you actually danced and did proper dance steps, but that is the nature of the show. But you did yourself proud.

I think she will be in the dance off with Matt and she will be saved. She's on borrowed time though despite her improvements.
Kym has the potential to be GREAT, but I still feel like she's holding back. The charleston saw her bring character to a dance but now she needs to bring that extra burst of energy and confidence to her Latin.

Don't get me wrong - Kym has LOADS of potential and is improving generally but I do find that there's something slightly lacking in her performance value. She needs to try and look a little more self-assured, as at the moment she still looks like someone who is soley focused on getting through the technique. Having said that, this wasn't an easy routine and she did have great timing and recovery from the spins and the routine was a lot of fun!
Nice. Not as good as last time, she played it safe and needed more energy. But Kym has improved. Well done.
I'd say everyone is improving especially Hamza being the best tonight but James, Matt and Tony are still average and underwhelming it's good they give it a go but one of them needs to go

Another fabulous dance from Graziano but the wardrobe department did him no favours with that outfit, he looked like a 70’s childrens TV presenter. Nevertheless I loved the routine.
I usually love the Strictly costumes, but this series it feels like they've been a bit all over the place. Some are absolutely fantastic, and others have been... not so much. They're still better than the American show, though.
Great moves, I can see you are still concentrating on the dance. You need to straight up your back or posture to match your partner. Hope you enjoyed your dance

They should have gave them more party samba outfits; I feel like their outfits here makes the dance more underwhelming even though she is quite good.

This wasn't bad. It had the samba technique, musicality, bounce and everything was refined but it lacked energy and the Samba really needs that, like other dances. Really good attempt though!

Kym's good at dancing I just don't this this was Kym's dance hopefully she does better next week and I was happy to see Graziano dance to his favourite song.
plues dress making department very disappointed Kym's dress looked very bad indeed bright pink and orange with no sequins and sparkles that dress was all wrong.
James and Amy should be the ones going this week he was overscored and it was obvious he didn't have a good frame or the quick steps
@@danielhindson1840 Thank you for you comment I do not know if your more of a fan of Kym than you are of James, for me I like them equally and as for the judges I think they score higher for a lot of the men who are not that great with dance ability and have very proud egos so the men's emotional feathers will not be ruffled up, sorry if I didn't say enough good things about Kym I like her and Graziano I was just getting really tried, needed to wrap things up and if you go and check out my comment for James this week I say the exact same thing as you about the frame work.

@@danielhindson1840 Hamza is my favourite so I was very happy he did well this Week and I hope he will go thought to Next Week, the thing about James is that James Bye is from EastEnders and that show like a lot of soap opera's has a big fan base but I can see your logic besides from Hamza who's won over the viewers and judges it could be anyone going home.
@@meredithgrace4337 eastenders used to have 30 million viewers now it's lacking around 2 million which is a huge decline so someone like Tony Adams a footballer would have more popularity not everyone knows who Fleur East is as she ended up in the dance off so it's unpredictable who ends up in the dance off just hope it's not the better ones
Beautifully danced 👏 definitely so many rhythm changes in this song! She done so well. I feel like she needs to let herself go more and get lost in the dance and this would be spectacular! Feel like its a little delicate and nice at the moment! But still amazing, and she's executing good dances every week 🤍 for me 8 🙂
