Thank you for another very informative video. I want you to know how much we all appreciate what you’re doing for us. Also, the quality of your videos over time have become very professional. Camera work, angles, lighting, set design, excellent. Congratulations. This was an excellent review.
Nice content. Wondering have you try spinning around at just 10 to 20 feet? From what I heard, yes u can go long range, but as long as a sudden move even in close range, the receiver hiccup to lost part of the vocal.
From having the Comica 300 the main thing about this mic system is: 1. A and B have completely separate channels. This is important because if you're having issues with A channels. Switch to B channels for a better chance of success in a bad signal area 2. used in weddings and live events Comica tend to be great for that using XLR cable that comes with it. Remember if someone has a deep voice use high pass filter setting Thats all
I am very happy with the product, I have used it with a smartphone and they work really well. I am writing to you for your support. I have tried to connect the microphones to my gopro 9 equipped with the gopro external microphone adapter, but I cannot get them to work. Which of the three cables of the receiver should I use to connect the receiver to the gopro? Thank you if you can give me an answer.
Somewhere in the web I read that in a wireless "streaming" situation (p.e. Mevo) it's better to use a system that uses UHF frequency rather than the 2,4Ghz (Rode wireless Go, Seramonic, etc.) because the 2,4Ghz frequency is used also by the wireless router and other electronic equipments situated in the environment (smartphones, ecc.). This is the reason why at times the 2,4Ghz systems experience audio problems. What do you think?
What are pros and cons of Comica X-U vs X-D? My concern with the X-D is that the sound can drop out if the talent turns so the pack is behind their body. Does the X-U handle this better?
I purchased the Rode Wireless Go and used it 2 times and now it will not reset the channel:(. It looks like this is a know issue. Do you use the Rode Wireless before? This seems like a great replacement for my Rode on my SONY A6400. What are your thoughts?
I have used the Rode a couple of times but I keep defaulting to Saramonic and Comica. The thing I like about this is the range! But check out my Saramonic Blink video so you have options!
Distance works even with interference because the Boom X-U is using UHF. Who uses UHF anymore? Literally no one. I have an earlier Comica that uses the UHF frequency. It has two transmitters but does not do stereo. Still a good setup. Waiting to get mine. I will like the stereo function with these for interviews and when Im showing others how to spin yarn.
Wish they had regular batteries instead of built-in. I just won't fall into the battery obsolescence trap, where the life of your purchase is determined by a built-in China-made battery. Comica does make batt powered sets.

I appreciate that! Feels good to know the small tweaks over time are being noticed! Thanks for always supporting me!
Have enjoyed your reviews. Looks like a pretty cool solution.
Glad you have enjoyed the videos! It is definitely a tool some might love and find useful! Specially that stereo feature!

can this be connected to a mixer or PA audio system?
Is this an advert ? Price details ? Of all offers!
Beyond DSLR cameras, camcorders and smartphones, can this product be used with the Insta360 One X2?
Can it be used with gopro
how do you connect to An android. I cant find any answers
The video shows it! You need an adapter for smartphones without a 3.5mm port.
Love the review. Not a fan of the antenna having to stick out like that though.

Can't seem to find any place to order them in Europe as of yet
Amazon not working? I'd check their website or any dealers in your area.
@@EMTFILMS checked amazon and their official website, but no luck on the X-U series, so it seems that we are going to get these after the US launch
@@EMTFILMS Amazon will be selling them next month.
Comica will officially launch BOOMX-U in Europe in mid-October. Hope it will help you
@@bellaye925 It's now early Nov and still nothing.
Any post editing to audio done?
Only volume. Everything was dialed in in camera via the monitoring function.
So, it DOES brake the signal at first stop! At 35 feet?
So, it's usable up to 10-15? More than enough, just to have wireless....
Enjoying the russian subtittles LOL. Who is the master that did it?
Off topic...have you reviewed the DJI Ronin SC?
No I have not but I have used it and it's great for mirror less cameras!
Will it work with a GoPro as well as iPhone ?
You can use it with the mic adapter depending on your GoPro!
gopro.com/en/us/shop/mounts-accessories/pro-3.5mm-mic-adapter/AAMIC-001.html
You can use it on the iPhone if you have the dongle or if you have an older iPhone and it has the mic jack you can use it without a dongle.
@@abittwisted Yes got the dongle
I clicked because the thumbnail shows it mounted to a phone holder and I wanted a better look at that.
