Hi Daphne; I looked back at my first Tinmi arts canvas that I did at the beginning of my diamond painting journey, I didn’t realize at the time but yes those are DAC codes for their AB drills, and yes they had the letter A before each sequence number. The kit I did was called Nicole Flowerr, and it had seven AB! I recall enjoying the quality of it! ❤️from🇨🇦
As I know Leisure Arts is a company that made Cross Stitch patterns in the past. As Diamond Painting began being popular and the interest for cross stitch had decreased along the years (I know that it began to be popular again) I think they decided to produce diamonds. I can be wrong but I think it makes sense!
I’ve done a Tinmi before and yes it has the A codes and I really liked doing it it had a nice canvas and lots of AB drills and the drills shine so much o e I done was an abstract
My printer has a scanner function, so I scan the symbol key into the computer and then print it out on plain paper. Then I run it through the Xyron to make it sticky!
@@aimeepardee8925 If you don't have a scanner, you can also just copy the key (if you have access to a copier). I often find that I don't need to resize the key but can use it as is and the stickers will fit on my containers.
Leisure arts is basically Diamond Dotz' cheaper line of paintings. They have a premium line and a less expensive line. I doubt tinmi arts is part of Diamond Dotz but there aren't unlimited manufacturers. It seems that a handful of factories produce drills for all these companies. They each provide lots of different levels of quality to the companies for a cost.
Ahh, interesting. The drills aren’t the size of the other Diamond Dotz I’ve done, because DD drills seem to be taller than any other company’s drills. It would be interesting to know how many actual manufacturers there are!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous yeah it makes sense that the drills wouldn't be quite and high quality for the Leisure Arts line. I bet DAC just used the numbers the manufacturer provided for their abs. These manufacturers are pretty tight lipped about who they provide drills for. Jade found out that her manufacturer is the same as Ever moment. She was annoyed about it because of their history with stolen art and they never told her. She has since let it go. There is no way to avoid it really. Just goes to show you how our hands are tied. DAC setting up their own manufacturing is something Id love to know more about. Are they just within a factory that makes for many different brands and have more control over that part?? Who knows.
@@jessdiamondpaints I mean, if there are only so many manufacturers, it makes sense there would be overlap. I assumed DAC uses a Chinese manufacturer because it seems like their new releases show up almost immediately on other sites.
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous good video idea. Bring diamond dots on and talk to them about the production of a canvas and all that other jazz surrounding making a piece of art and getting it in our hands.
so im curious how these events work. Like how does one win the main prize and what exactly is it? Pretty new to the community so this is the first event ive seen start up
Most events will have entry/exit forms (usually a Google form) that you fill out with your information and pics (if a finish is required, for example). Then a winner will be drawn at random from those entries for the main prize. There may also be weekly drawings for smaller prizes, usually random drawings based on video comments, or FB posts, or something like that. It just depends on how the event host wants to do it.
I have a small 30×40 canvas that will be perfect but it's from one of those cheap sites off amazon and I cant find the name of the picture, but I can say that it has the bald eagle with the American flag in the background, would this picture qualify for the event? If I could post a picture I would.
I think that a lot of these companies are all being produced out of the same factories in China. Just like our grocery stores sell their vanity brand and whatever item is being sold is similar to the brand name minus a few bells and whistles and especially the markup for advertising. My first Timni Arts DP was a disappointment. It was a grayscale tiger that would have come out horribly had I placed the 310 ABs it came with. I haven't tried another one. I'm doing a soaring eagle for the DPforVets event.

Good morning I was just wondering how do you scan your codes so you can make stickers thank you in advance

@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous thank you I do have the xyron sticker maker so I'll have to figure out how to do the scanning part but thank you

The canvas is made from a company called DiyYid if that helps
At least 30X30cm and patriotic theme, sounds like it would qualify!
