We went to Dunkin for two coffees and a box of Munchkins for the same price. Similarly, I was in a pinch and went to McD for a two cheeseburger meal. They charged me $13. I can go to a sit down restaurant and get real food. Lower income families are priced out and higher income will simply go to better places. These greedy corporations deserve the beating they are getting. Most people who have bad experience will simply not ever go back. Powell is not an economist and he has no clue what he is doing. Just like most Trump appointees. He was way too late to hike and way too late to cut. We should have had cuts since March. Now he is risking waiting too long for things to crap out before cutting way too much abruptly. Hoping someone talks some sense into him and we get cuts this month.
