NOBODY makes better videos than Rammstein. They are ALL so different, so creative, fantastically filmed. Amazing art. I've never seen a single Rammstein video like any other, or one I didn't absolutely love.
Marilyn Manson's videos were ok. I stopped listening to him after Mechanical Animals, but occasionally he produces great songs. He's a bit simplistic at times, but I guess this is part of the game. Coma White is absolutely one of the best.
And the video for Adieu just released and yep, it did not dissapoint.
well, i guess you're right, nevertheless check some Oomph 1999-2006 period clips, like Brennende Liebe, Sx hat keine macht, augen auf, weisse licht, they are close to Rammstein coolness wise. By the way, in 90s Oomph were the ones who really influenced Rammstein's music

This is a pretty Epic song, and most Fans can tell you that this was supposed to be the Entrance Music for the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Wladimir Klitschko (Brother of the Ukranian Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, who also used to be a Heavyweight Champion). The result was considered too hard by Klitschko and wasnt taken in the End.
That is where the counting to 10 comes frrom. And if you read some of the lines closely, the topic of boxing still shows up (wenn sie aus den Fäusten bricht, legt sich heiss auf das Gesicht - When she breaks out of the fist, planting herself hot on the Face).
I was wondering if somebody had provided this fact. Klichkó missed it, but the world won a master piece.

I’m a metal guy going back to early Iron Maiden/ Metallica etc. When I first saw Rammstein it was a live Ich will video on mtv in the early 2000’s, it completely blew my mind, I was mesmerised, there’s no one like them out there, amazing !
Sonne was the very first Rammstein song I heard. Booming industrial metal at its finest. The video though…miners queuing up to be spanked by someone who looked like Snow White…something of a wtf moment…wished I had been a miner🤪🤪🤪…I like queuing 🤪🤪🤪. Seriously, this is a classic song within my humble mental musical collection. The hidden meaning…whatever you want it to be. Sabina…a great reaction…there is a lot to take in. Sorry, I have to go..I’ve been a naughty boy and it’s smack bottom time🤪🤪. Outstanding song and video.

a neat detail if you notice snow white is dont cast a shadow. she is the light. the dwarfs work in the dark mines. and then she come in as the sun. she is always light up so they are worshipping her as the sun. giving her whatever she want to keep her in their life. as they dont wenna go back to the dark
This was the song and video that really got me into Rammstien. I had it on my MySpace back in the day. Just recently saw them live at the Metlife Stadium. They played in the rain.
The piano version of this song at the end of the "Deutschland" video (during the credits) is so hauntingly beautiful. Till Lindemann (without the band) has also made a song and a video with a French singer called "Zaz", the song's title is "Palais de Larmes", great video, too (though the music is very different).

I love how they use art and the absurd to make alegories about life. the beauty of art (doesn't mean its beautiful) just makes you shocked but makes you reflect about how are you living and stuff. this fascinates me

In that video Snow White gave herself a seaming deadly dose of gold. In Germany such a deadly dose is called "Goldener Schuss" ("golden shot").
Every time, the song says: "Hier kommt die Sonne", Snow White is seen or enters the scene.
As she is in the coffin, just as the sun reflects on the glasses of one of the workers, the apple fell. Before that, in the scene with the coffin, all is dark and grey.
So, Snow White is the sun. Without her is no sun.

"Sonne" is an amazing song - for me the mix of hard verses and soft-melodic chorus was a fantastic idea, and Rammstein - as always - did it perfectly! It's not a surprise that it is one of the best spectacles on Rammstein concerts 😃
As you already know, this song was actually written on request - for the boxer, who finally rejected it. Fun fact: he chose Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" instead as his entrance song, and lost the fight. Karma! 😆
I suggest you watching the "Official making of" video, which is really interesting. The funny thing is, that they always proceed through brainstorms when they plan to release a new video - and it is always a long process, since everyone has to agree it is matching their expectations. In the past there have been cases, when they simply rejected the video completely ("Das Modell") or didn't like the final work and reshot it ("Mein Herz Brennt"). Also, there was one situation when Till decided to do a video on his own (for song "Mutter") which almost caused the breakup of the band!
Nevertheless - I'm sure you will appreciate one of their most interesting songs: "Wiener Blut". It is a great song with so many unique elements that you will have a lot to discover. Also, the backstory is really dark - which is the Joseph Fritzl case. If you decide to do the reaction, please choose the live version from Wacken festival in 2013. If you choose the one with English lyrics, you will have the summary of the backstory included in the video. 🙂 I think you will appreciate how theatrical Till can be on stage ♥

Mein Teil is my favorite Rammstein song, but I don't like it's video very much. Deutschland is probably my favorite Rammstein video, but this one and Benzin are also up there.

This is not how you imagined Snow White when you read children's fairy tales.
This has always been one of my very favourite Rammstein tracks, for me it's definitely th4e best of their early stuff. My favourite part's definitely that beautifully twisted female vocal element, it's got this wonderfully dark, haunting quality to it. The actual album version of the song is definitely superior, because instead of just the sudden stop here we get just this particular element on its own to play out, it's a whimsical but rather heartbrreaking way to end the song.
It's hilarous that it could be kinda dark video but they are talking about the sun

I've been a fan of them since around 2006 but the only video I've ever seen was Du Haust. Everything else I've seen by them has been live shows which my first one was Live in Berlin way back when.

Du solltest aber mal die richtige Schneewittchen Geschichte lesen, Grimm's Märchen sind viel düsterer als die Disney Versionen.

I think you missed a big point. She was the bane of there existence and the center of there world. Punished if they don’t bring her the gold and rewarded with affection for bringing them the gold and the end after she comes back they have to go back in the mines. And the actual translation put to the Visual into a super dark perspective.
Its actually about the Atomic Bomb, they wanted to make the video about it too but the idea was scraped, the Atomic Bomb is called the fake sun..

The original snow white story is a german tail about a beutifull white girl aka a pure blue eyed aryan looking , then disny ade a moview that shows the aryaness in snow white but as historians say what whalt disny was thinking was try to show peaple converting to whitness and indo europianess has many benefits, infact this was so pronounced in the movie when adults watch it that hotler had disnies sniw white in repeat but wasent propegandai enough and some what kined so he made an eve darker wan for germens in 1930s to aspier to an kill the non arians not convert them , and ramstein is just showing the reality of the original story and its real darkside.

This song was commissioned by Vitali Klitschko. As a song for the march to the ring.
Klitschko is the sun (Sonne). So the text makes sense.
But it was too hard for little Vitali. So Rammstein has made it a hit for themselves.
It is so creative to produce a video with totally different content to an existing Song and it works. For me one of funniest Rammstein videos.
