Since the big boss is made from 5 parasites, with each one forming a part of the body, he basically doesn't have any human organ that they can shoot, thus they can't mortally wound him/them.

In the midst of a real emergency, I believe it is the authorities right to implement heavy restrictions on the people, so long as the restrictions make sense to the reasonable person and is within the context of trying to do the most good for the most people given limited resources.

Parasyte the Maxim really makes you question you're own humanity. I feel conflicted. On one hand , yes there are parasites that eat humans but there are some parasites that don't anymore like Reiko Tamura. Parasites are capable of learning to eat like we do, instead of human flesh. Parasites can be like Reiko who just want to learn to coexist with humans. In a way , we humans are hypocrites ourselves. Some of our own kind hurt other humans. Some of our own kind kills other humans for selfish reasons. And some humans are even greedy and animalistic as well as hateful. I'm refering to all of humanity btw. Do we really have a right to condemn parasites in this Anime? It's hard to explain . Great reaction. Love this Anime. There's a Manga for parasite too.

I’m hoping you guys read this comment about Gotou, in response to the confusion about his body and bleeding. Parasytes (as a whole species) are the babies of humans. They’re on the same intellectual level, and need a parent (host) to survive - as any baby would. Gotou is Tamura’s experiment, where 5 parasytes took over a host (we assume each one had their own individual host at some point), which is the equivalent of 5 babies thinking they can survive on their own without mom and dad. He’s arrogant of his strength, like an arrogant child. That’s why he is the most “fragile,” as Tamura Reiko stated. Given parasytes are basically sentient muscle that shape shift based on needs, it means his entire body is parasitic, with the exception of his blood. His nutrition comes from the nutrition inside the blood of the humans he eats. It’s difficult for Gotou to bleed since he’s able to immediately close any wound, internal or external. He only lost a lot of blood before because Miki (his right limb parasyte) fucked up fighting Shinichi. He has no weak spots, which is why Gotou is a monster.

@@michaeldean2877 yes I agree the anime only covers the first 3 volumes of the light novel and they even kinda make slight changes and leaving some important details changing the direction of the story, but it's still good on it's own I honestly hope they will remake it soon.
