D.O is 1 in a million! I haven’t met a Kpop idol like him yet. He’s so just natural, just wanting to sing, act and what ever seems like fun. He doesn’t care about grabbing fans (aegyo) even at an award show Suho asked if he was here for the award and he said no I’m just here to preform. One thing that’s not talked about though is his experience with saesangs. He used to be super outgoing if a little shy but then he kept getting followed, his belongings were stolen from his dorm and everything he became so scared and secluded due to it. I believe that’s why he doesn’t have a social media. This comeback he’s becoming more like himself and more happy which I’m so happy to see.
He also got a lot of hate and people telling him to leave EXO after a variety show appearance where he had to draw the member's faces in 3 minutes and show their distinctive feature so they could be identified. He had something for everyone, but the most distinctive thing to him about Kai was his tan skin. He was not poking fun at it, and he wasn't being colorist or anything like that, but people got offended af because he colored Kai's face in with the black marker he was using to draw (it was all he had, no crayons or anything), and left the rest of the faces the color of the paper (white). He had people asking him to kill himself, demanding he leave the group, saying he was fat and ugly, some even started coming for his voice. So that combined with the sasaeng activity, really caused him to retreat into his shell.
So for me it's about being okay with separation. The separation from his member's, the separation between him and EXO-L's. Regardless of what's happing and how you feel, That's Okay. YOU SHOULD REALLY CHECK THE LYRICS!! That's Okay is a comforting queen. Kyungsoo worked on lyrics and reflected his own soul in this masterpiece... This song is just soooo loved by other idols and singers. 2 years after release they are still talking about this song and themselves listening to it when they struggle hard times.
TO was released on the day he enlisted and 1,5 year after he gave us live video when he was officially discharged. This is the most precious gift from him to fans. I love him so much!!
Kyungsoo is indeed special. I'm always in awe because he seems like a super low profile, super quiet person, but he's so active and professional. He is a good cook, a good artist (graphic), a good actor, a good singer, a good dancer... He doesn't brag, he doesn't get into scandals. He's hard-working, fun, polite, and I hate idolizing people, but he really is that special guy, you know?

Thats okay is the 1st "EXO' song that i heard and i listen to this song for 3 days non stop.. its such a comforting song, hearing it when night come and you ready to sleep is the best way to end your day and gives you a realx yet warmth feel.. after Thats okay i give a try to search and listen to EXO's songs (i didn't like and not interested on idolgroup at all that time) and i stan them right away and falling in love with them. And D.O. is my ult bias in kpop.. aah can't wait for his solo album.

Many of us were broken with this song as it was his gift to his fans upon enlistment. He wrote the lyrics and we never saw him perform it until he came back. We waited and we got the gift from him singing it. It's a comfort song.
