Thank you for this amazing song. I cannot tell you the amount of times I'm having a down moment and chuck this on. It has done wanders for my mental health.
I want you to know I play this whenever I need some extra strength. It is exactly how my mates and I feel. As my former drill instructor used to say: "Luv yer work, sirs!"
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
I remember listening to this song in fourth grade. My teacher played it for the class and we never really knew what it meant and just thought it was a sad song, but then she told us and like half of the dramatic kids started crying which that was about 3 kids. it was kinda sad hearing the meaning about this
Well done Wolfe brothers. Really goes to show what our defence force does to protect our nation. It is a very moving song. I was very lucky to see them live in Canberra and they performed Hey Brother.
Thank you for your service from US citizen. USA and Australian Military and veterans never forget.
