It's the starter. My car sat for 1 year and I bought a brand new starter, not a used or rebuilt but a new starter, had it put in and it started right up.
Lol same shit happened to me I tried turning it on but didn’t work then it did and thought it was gas since my fuel gauge dosent work drove to the gas station and didn’t turn on after I filled it then I hit the starter with the hammer it turned on after thought I was good I had work the next day it didn’t turn on in the morning 🤦♂️ took it to the shop to replace the starter but had to hit it with a hammer again 🤣
My car was just sitting for a minute when the battery ran out of juice. I jumped it & all the power comes on it just won't start, when I turn the key it does some clicking noise but won't start. What should I do?

@@jonodeluca4149 we found out that some of the electrical cables were unprotected and have a tendency to fall into the tray for the battery, which collects water during rain or washing.
Well what happened I replaced the battery because it was drained yet it still wont turn over. Local mechanic thought starter but recommend I tow it to Nisaan cus its a weird problem he said.
Nissan was booked up over a week so after searching around (cus no one wanted to take on a job that involved actual diagnosis) I found a reputable shop who very carefully discovered the starter was bad and also coolant leak coming from the heater core. This was apparently missed by a mechanic who changed my oil a week earlier. So a $1000 or so dollars later she's now running like a champ (knock on wood it's still a Nissan). I'm lucky these guys did such a good job because if you watch any videos on it you'll see how the labor is EXTENSIVE to replace the heater-core involves removing entire dashboard.
I have an infinity G35X07 doing the same thing won't start but you hear clicking I took it to the shop and they told me I had to replace my engine but I got somebody else to look at it and my engine is not seized up so maybe it might just be my starter

No Crank, No Start? Make sure battery is at 100% Make sure your terminals are cleanbabd tight Make sure your ground wire is corrosion free and connected to the frame Make sure your fuses andcrelays are all good.
I’m having the same issue but the only Difference is my car shut off while driving, wouldn’t crank again and tried pop starting and nothing… have no idea what it is
The cranking is the starter turning and the battery powering to do so. It’s your fuel air or spark, I’d start with the fuel. Does the car have gas, do you hear a fuel pump clicking on etc
@@peterl6095 battery might have died on me, people at Autozone didn’t even tell me if it was a dead battery or not they just charged it for me but today i went to turn it on to heat it up atleast, than 5minutes later radio died
I had the same thing it wasn’t my battery. I’m thinking it might be a dirty throttle body I’m going to clean it out and let you know. I hear they are infamous about getting dirty and not allowing your car to turn on
@@andrewmiguel8951 yes, it was the crank shaft sensors and cam shaft sensor. Switched all three of them out. I still cleaned out my MAF sensor and throttle body.

We made a vinyl skirt for that whole area under the hood, and secured the cables. It’s worked through rainy season so far.

Could be...starter, relay, fusible link, bad battery, corroded terminal or loose terminal.

Check your relays and fuses.
Clean and tighten battery terminals.
Try giving it a jump to see if it starts.
Clean your ground wire.
Swap out your remote battery.

Try jumping the car. Make sure terminals are clean and tight. Try switching the starter relay. Make sure the brake switch is good.
