  • In this video we will begin running GTAW in the 1G and 1F positions. We will use a 3/32" ER70S2 filler material and work on consistency of travel speed and addition of filler material. For these welds, we will be using the Weldpro TIG 200 welder. We are using 100% Argon shielding gas and working on A36 mild steel.

    I just got my weldpro 200 today. I’ve never tig welded before. Watched these tutorials and my first bead was a stack of dimes. I’ve been welding all night and can’t get enough of it. This welder is very user friendly right out of the box and the support is great.

    Hey Luke, I'm just getting started learning to weld the "right" way on the new TIG 200 my wife got me for Christmas, and just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your videos! They are super informative for a noob like me, and your enthusiasm really has me excited to get started. Thank you!

    Was going to buy this tig welder to match my weldpro mig but I hope it’s better quality than my mig. Hard to believe there is no adjustable nut for the weld wire reel! This has caused me a nightmare since all reels are not created equal, even if they look the same, there not, I have had to peel the sticker off the side of some reels just to get them to feed right. Even with minimal resistance, the internal feed motor is too weak to feed the wire! Also the gas nozzle tips tend to melt right off after a few hot welds. These should of been threaded on instead of click on, the glue just can’t withstand the heat. I hope you guys can take reviews like this to improve them in the future.

    Electrode stick out looks more than cup opening or optical illusion?
    Also for safety bend the opposite tip with pliers so you don't put your or others eye out by accident 👀.

    Hi Luke, I can't wait to collaborate with you on our custom 3/16" steel gazebo brackets. I use 3 different styles for a total of 24 custom welded brackets that are galvanized dipped. Ill bring over my templates and holding jigs and we can try the Tig 200 .

    Im less worried about how to weld.. and more interested in its features.. like why i should buy this machine verses a competitor machine.. things like duty cycle @ 220v, does it have high freq, ac/dc setting.. pulse capabilities.. ect. Do you have any of those videos..

    Hey just bought the Euro style torch TIG 200 but I’m not finding many videos on it. What’s the difference between the one I bought and the one in these videos?

    • @WeldproWeldingEquipment
      @WeldproWeldingEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is not to much of a difference between the two, the Euro torch simply has a plastic cover over the outside of what would be a standard torch design. Sorry for the delay by the way! Not sure how we missed this one.

    Hello Luke! I have a question! I’m familiar with mig welding and I am about to buy this tig machine to expand my abilities! My question is: how is the circuit completed in this process? I know the polarity is reversed so you have the ground lug in the positive connection. But nothing in the negative connection on the machine? Is the foot switch the piece of the puzzle I’m overlooking here? Does the electricity flow through the red hose on the ck torch when you step on the pedal to create the arc? I’m sure this is a silly question but it’s been keeping me up at night.

      @behrouzadel1033 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, as you guessed, the negative pole current is transmitted through the welding torch. The pedal only controls your welding process and has no role in transmitting current.
      With respect

      With the correct filler it shouldn't be a problem, ill talk with our specialists and see if I can get more details. Thanks for the question!
