The main thing I remember about this movie is that the "house" made the kids this really nice breakfast complete with chocolate chip waffles. The kids took one bite of bacon and said, "We're going to be late for school, " then left. Didn't even take anything for the road. I was like, 😐... That's the moment I knew this house was going to kill these people.
Bruh that’s like every problem in all of these Disney Channel TV movies. There’s a table of deliciously homemade breakfast food. The kids take one bite of bacon or eggs, then takes a sip of juice and dips off to school. Because he’s late. 🤷🏾♂️💯
@@RalphJr-xp3hp Facts, that would be me a little bit when I was little. I don't seem realistic for a kid or teen to take one bite. Out of a delicious straight out a magazine looking food. To be honest, I would just quickly get a Tupperware dish. Get a fork slide that food into that dish, put the top on. Grab my water bottle pour the Orange Juice into it. Then, I guess you can say I have already packed my own lunch for the day.😂
It feels wild; some parts you forget (mostly the boring talky talk parts LOL) but some things stick with you for life. One for me is just "THE AOMEBA..." lol
Please do next the movie - ‘don’t look under the bed.’ It’s was Disney’s scariest TV movie. They rarely show it but it’s soo good. It actually puts to shame many of the children’s films we got today.
Nah I'm too tired to stand up lol :P That said, the memories were fond but I actually grow to love childhood movies more as an adult. Like Jingle All The Way, lol
Same, Twitchers & Halloweentown were the best movies for October.🌑🎃🕸🦇👻 October used to be my favorite month for Disney channel they would transform the whole tv station into a Halloween party theme. Put on an abundant promising movies & tv shows back to back. So, much you didn't know what to watch first. It was called "Monstober" as a 2000's kid growing up that was the best.
Please do me disney channel originals from the 90s and 2000s: the halloweentown trilogy, zenon trilogy, color of friendship, get a clue, quints, even stevens movies, phantom of the megaplex, motorcross, johnny tsunami, thirteenth year, scream team, poof point, hounded, the other me, Eddi'es million dollar cook off, luck of the irish, escape to witch mountain (1995), tiger cruise, blank check, don't look under the bed, and of course up, up and away It would be hilarious
That is crazy I literally watched this randomly on Disney + last week. Please continue the series, watch Susie Q, 13th year, Other Me, Genius, Wish Upon a Star, Brink!, Model Behavior etc.!
I watched the livestream on Twitch last night so I came here to say that I agree that you should continue reviewing some of the Disney channel movies. I watched them with my kids when they were younger. I look forward to your review of The Thirteenth Year. May I also suggest Luck of the Irish. Thanks
The first DCOM Under Wraps also has some surprisingly deep moments. The lead kid is still not over his parents' divorce, one of his best friends is more or less trying to overcome his cowardliness, and so on.
Other Disney Channel movies you guys should review: Xenon: Girl of the 21st Century The Color of Friendship Under Wraps The Thirteenth Year The Other Me
It’s on Disney plus 🤷🏽♀️ ... Disney has always been good at lockin up their original titles from other platforms unless they pay. (LMAO.. Korey tryna make it look like it was “scrubbed” from the internet due to its content)
I watched this with my best friend back in the day--we were in early high school, I think--and I can still remember this one scene where the smart house turns on a wall-sized TV screen for the son and his friends, and they start bopping along to N*SYNC or some other boy band, and my friend and I looked at each other and just busted out laughing. I don't know how much people remember about the 90's, but there wasn't a single teenage guy (at least in our school) who thought boy bands were cool XD
I'm not one to like Original Disney Channel movies, but Smart House is a freaking Classic in my Disney movies list! Made me have a big crush on Katey Sagal! Personal opinion but I seriously think this is the BEST Evil Robot House movie, a more PG friendly version of 1977's Demon Seed and that one episode of The Simpsons. Perfectly said with the Black Mirror comparison. Seeing it came out in 1999 I'm surprised it wasn't a Goosebumps tie-in movie.
Six years since Double Toasted was born, I never guessed I would see you guys review one of Disney's Original Movies. And Smart House no less. But you know, this is one of the good ones. Key phrasing, 'one of the good ones'.
2:54 "There's no trailer... they've scrubbed a lot of this from the internet... yep, can't find it." uh... I literally just searched Disney Smart House on TH-cam and the 1st two things that come up are the trailer, and the option to buy the film for $5.99 ...

i dont understand how this movie was hard to find corey. Its on Amazon Prime. By the way another movie that so happened to predict the future almost perfectly along with the running man, demolition man and etc.
That's the thing about the 90's Disney movies. They pull you in because you have low expectations and then you get into it and then they turn out to not be so bad. Laughable, mistakes of course but pretty enjoyable for the time. This one was one of my faves as a kid.
Totally see where Korey is coming from. It’s so weird when I see my Alexa thinking. It’s when the yellow light is spinning. Terrifying. That’s why I switch to Google nest. 😂

This was one of my favorite Disney Channel movies when I was younger. I remember wanting a full wall tv screen so bad! It's still such an enjoyable movie.
Also, I'm going only about 20:00 in but y'all talking about the absorbing floor reminds me of that late 90s Treehouse of Horror where the Simpsons get a Smart house (voiced by Pierce Brosnan) and that scene of Homer in the shredder/garbage disposal
I was eating a taco when he said "DONT DRINK THAT SHIT" when the little girl got the milkshake and I almost spit it out laughing. 😂😂😂😂 But fr. Ive had so many opportunities to get a Google smart home and an Alexa for free and ive literally said "ion want that shit, you ever seen smart house?!". This movie freaked me tf out growing up.

kinda odd Korey said that they couldn't find this movie anywhere and youtube basically saying "well we have it avaible for you to buy"
I loved this movie as a kid! I was watching this on Disney+ a few months ago
16:50 the way Corey says fuck you is hilarious
I wouldn't blame Lavar Burton for this. Disney Channel just had awkward acting. They acted that way in the mermaid one.
That's interesting. The role of the son would usually be the daughter
Disney Channel didn't cheap out on their movies like Sci-fi did. Their animated ones like Kim Possible and the Proud Family were pretty good.
I love the Hebrew subtitles! That's as sure sign as any how much trouble they had finding a copy of the film.

Why does Korey say Smart House is nowhere to be found? You can buy it digitally AND it's on Disney+! lol
