- This is from the closing party of Amnesia, Ibiza -- 3rd of October '89. Not much to say really other than it's one of the best things I've seen for summing up what it was like. The club still looks truly amazing and Alfredo is the DJ (of course). Check our website testpressing.org for more balearic beats.

Like I just stepped out of the TARDIS. Amazing! Had my first madness in amnesia in 88 and remember not much at all, so I vowed to return there and forget nothing. Went over in June 89, met some wonderful people and had the soaring pleasure of going back for this night. I threw my (shit) job in because they wouldn't give me the time off and never had any regrets about my decision. Why? It was quite simply the best night out of my life. Thanks for the upload, Mr Byrne and to all who attended. You know who you are x
i come back to this video again and again to remember what ravings all about ,getting high of the music in europe to strange euro and american sounds with strangers and making new euro friends me and my buddz we trying to recreate this vibe at oswald haedtrl/volksgarten vienna - its got a retractable roof and no nosey neighbors if you love this vibe come check it out this summer - there will be some great djs lined up inc ajello , wild geese and more - one love keep the Balearic vibe alive !

Wow !!, I was at this party, although on the dance floor and not hanging with the beautiful people. Fantastic times. I dont remember much but i do recall Adamski and boy George was there too.

Ibiza , when it was still cool.
I remember going to Amnesia back in the early 2000's, when there was no safe crossing outside and you did have to dodge the traffic to get to the drive entrance. Ibiza has always been a special place for me, with both happy and sad memories.

I still talk about this night as one of the best of my life, cant beleive over 20 yrs ago.

Adamski`s Live and Direct album was partly recorded live at Amnesia in 89. A brilliant album and a very special one to me. Summing up an amazing movement - whatever you want to label that as. Illegal raves around the M25 and Amnesia all in one summer - "Adamski the techno is back".... "come on Adam"... :) Thank you to "the man like Adamski" "let me hear you"... yes!!!

With British dj’s bringing their sounds from London and Manchester…Ibiza was always a cultural melting pot that’s what makes it so amazing.
@@christophermurrell84 I agree. And there has been many other vacation locations that have 'tried' to replicate the magic, the feel and the vibe of the island but have completely failed (although that will never be admitted!).
It was always very international and that’s what made it so great.
