Here to remind you
It’s Saturday afternoon. 2007. I’m sat watching TV and this advert came on always. The memories of being young
‘We didn’t know we were making memories, we were just having fun’
My brains just entered overdrive from the nostalgia
Isn’t it brilliant how a specific jingle and advert can bring back the good times just from hearing it
Got home from schools, sat on the sofa watching TV, this advert would always come on...
Reminds me of the good times.
Same! This advert, and the theme tune in particular, take me back to such a beautiful time
Lloyds were total DICKHEADS for failing to making that tune their default anthem in all their ads for all time.
What a beautiful haunting tune.
It’s Sunday night. It’s winter. You’ve got school tomorrow and you don’t wanna go so you pretend to be ill on the sofa. This advert comes on. Nostalgia…
Bro we really all been living the same childhood 😭 sitting still and not misbehaving so u don't get noticed haha

HOLY SHIT THE NOSTALGIA
I WAS SO LITTLE WHEN THIS GOT RELEASED
My family were broke as
And I watched these ads and they made me happy
Thank you Lloyd’s tsb
Same I was a baby
Omg same 😂
Same man
Lol I was 3 when I watched this
i’m pretty sure this was still on in 2009 as i saw it when i was 2 i’m pretty sure.
only came here for the song
My dog used to 'sing along' to the music when this advert came on. We had to say goodbye to him yesterday, so I decided to look it up. Happier memories.
aww, that’s terribly sad. it’s so cool that you remembered that your dog did that though! and they only just passed away this past year or so, meaning they lived a long life
Lloyds were total DICKHEADS for failing to making that tune their default anthem in all their ads for all time.
What a beautiful haunting tune.
Me back then: cried because I thought the music was too sad
Me today: cries because of nostalgia
I know exactly how you feel
Same here ❤ no matter the physical differences end of the day we're all the same. Hugs!!!
this has lived in my head rent free for years
13 years later I’d just like to say thank you, might sound sad and ridiculous but this takes me way back to a time when things were simpler, before hashtags and COVID and bills etc. Thank you, the music alone gives me goosebumps
I cry every time when I hear or think about this advert because it used to air so frequently when I was a kid that it was engrained into my mind, just the simple, almost angelic singing.. it takes me right back to being a kid again, much simpler times...
We are all with you man.
Me too! Make me cry 😭
Love this music....
i once walked into one of the TSB branches in Victoria St, London, knowing that a friend of mine was going to call me back' with my ring tone being that of this tune!
The whole queue turned round and looked when it went off!
(smile).
They played the song in the advert in Maccies once and since then it’s been stuck in my head I would kill to go back to the good old days
The song is Wild Swans - Concert Suite 2
I remember watching this when I was like 6 and I’m 19 now, the marketing and adverts back then was way more creative
Same bro
This tune brings me back to a more simple time. Im from Singapore and i vaguely remember the ad i saw back on TV in a hotel room in the UK. I do not remember the exact ad i saw but this tune reminds me of those fond memories. Thank you Lloyds and thank you TH-cam.
I’ve always been a person so fond about nostalgic childhood memories. Especially the little things such as adverts like this one. Top tier advert just like the lynx 2012 final edition which has been discontinued unfortunately, the memories will fade but never burn.
I'm sitting down on Christmas Day next door watching this advert, and oh my! The nostalgia!
i must’ve only been 2 or 3 when this released but i still remember this so vividly wtf
Because there was series of ads like this until 2013
This ad is so weirdly nostalgic for me. I remember it so well on TV, and it's also slightly comforting cos it reminds me of times past
Does anyone else get the feels hearing this
Yes :)
all of us mate, all of us.
did anyone just come here because of the song
yh
Do u know what the song is

Why didn’t things stay as easy as it did when we were this age. God what happened to us all
This os serious nostalgia. Beautiful music
It’s the memories of little things like this that make me feel happy
I loved this advert and I’m so happy I have found it 🥺
I swear this tune was stuck in my head the whole year this ad came out
huge respect for uploading this. nostalgia hit the roof. seems like i am not the only one in this comment section to appreciate how beautiful this song is. wow
God I can’t tell you how beautiful it was to watch this.
Core memory unlocked
And this brings me back to my teenage years, esp when seeing my then girlfriend. Now in my 30's watching this is NOSTALGIC!!
Just had an ear worm about this track on Classic FM today. Fuck me how time flies!
Back in 2022 idk why but tiktok reminded me of this banger
Oh how I love this! So so many years back. Takes me away...
I love these ads. The characters and animation is so original and dreamlike. wonderful!
You still like them almost 15 years later?
I was a 1-year-old when I heard this *sigh* good times I was born in 2006
I was two, 2005 lmao.
0:54 - cheeky spank
HAHAHA good spot

11 years later and still doing the lord’s work 👌
Such a brilliant advert. Really emotional!
The irony is that the banks were in utter meltdown when this advert aired because of their stupid lending habits. Lloyds had to get bailed out
Wow... Nine years ago. How time flies...
I preferred Lloyds TSB before the split into Lloyds Bank and TSB.
What do you think of the tsb advert?
+Daniel Hornett I have been quite impressed with many advertisements for both TSB and Lloyds actually. I do quite like the TSB drawings with the whistling music. The current Lloyds adverts are slightly more 'global' and show the Black Horse heritage, but the initial 'Moments that Matter' adverts weren't brilliant IMO... What about you?
+sheela thomson
The same
you preferred Lloyds TSB when they literally caused a financial crisis through incomptenance and greed?
This brings back so many memories. The 3D animation style, the nosy models, the music, everything was back perfect then.
And this is why I signed up to Lloyds Bank when I was old enough for a bank account.. because of this masterpiece of an advent! (Even tho they were partnered with TSB at the time)
How did we grow up so quick man.
Can't believe this was 8 years ago when it came out!

Lmfaoooo 12 years now
Can believe it’s been 13 years
14 years now wtf
This music is as nostalgic and synonymous when blaring out of your parents tv sets in the morning as the GMTV/This Morning jingle.
Love this ad, love that music, love Lloyds TSB, love England
oh my god. this is nostalgic
Hello 2007...I’m home... 😭
The day an advert changed it all, every other bank must have watched this advert and thought "oh fuck"
I absolutely loved this advert as a kid!
Regardless of whether Lloyds TSB is a 'shit bank' or not, this has to be the best ad of the decade! The Music, the Visual and the Message!
This reminds me of Sunday nights after a bath as a kid
This shii was chilling
I loved watching these adverts when they came on the TV. Seems so long ago now.
Ahhhhhh.... literal chills.....
literally shut up
I used to listen that music when I was a little aw memories
The song is amazing, to be honest.

I love the Lloyds TSB adverts. Love the music.
I love that song and such a cute lil advert!
One of the most memorable ad campaigns of modern times. This same theme is still going today, so it must be working for them.

Nostalgia overload
They really don’t make adverts like they used to. From a simpler time.
Those people creeped me out when I was a child!
Ahhh the days of my innocence
This brought a tear to my eye I remember watching this back in 2008 with my mum, dad and sister. My dads just passed away suddenly 2 months ago he was 45 and me and my sister don't see much of each other much with us growing up living our own life's and my mums turned to drink so This made me smile but also cry at the same time because now I'm sat here watching it on the sofa but this time by my self. Wish I could go back in time when everything was okay its weird the little things that bring back memory's I miss you Dad xxxx
I’m with you Abigail ❤❤ stay safe and know your loved u ain’t ever alone !

They should make a British Rail commercial featuring that music. It would feel so nostalgic
