HI and thanks for watching my show. That was 2 years again but I remember the people liking it because it was different then most cakes but it is fast just 25 sec. You should look at last years show it was a lot better and this years will be even better.
donald graham The issue with PVC is what happens when a shell fails to lift. PVC sends shrapnel everywhere, HDPE just expands and splits. You can also use fiberglass as it either powders or shreds depending on how it is made.
Hi and thanks for all the info. This years fireworks is going to be Great. I have a firing system, HDPE pipe and I have over $2000.00 in fireworks for this years show. I am working on having a 16 foot long water fall, signs that say SHOW TIME, GOOD NIGHT, a Moving rocket car and much more. I will put the set up all on You Tube when it get late June.. and the show after the Forth of July.
Hi and thanks for watching my show. Most of the fireworks you see I got from a wholesaler in Ohio but I did get a few from Phantom. Thanks for the info. on a few other areas.
Hi AllThingsAwwsome78, I will be showing my 2011 Stash soon. I am building new racks and am adding a lot of new things to the show this year. This will be my best show ever. Will post part 1 of 3 soon.
I just got done making a wired firing system. It's a 36 cue and was very easy to make! It's like the one "displayfireworks1" made with the wood and screws. They work I also made a 6 and 24 cue system. (I put on very big shows) (2-3 per year). They run on car batteries..I use lawn mower batteries. Good luck with your next show!!!
Thxs for watching my show.. I do not use PVC any more. You should watch some of my other shows.. I am not sure what size black pipe I use but I know the 1.91" heavy duty DR-11 HDPE plugged mortar tube.
@kenz1031 Hi and thanks for looking at my fireworks show.. and yes you are right.. I need to add a lot more for the finale.. Next Year .. Look Out... :-)
@2knackers Hi, I am not sure what you mean but in the 2010 show I just light it one time. The show lasted about 45 mins. My boys did a few wheels and fountains why it was going. The 2011 show was done with a 12 cue firing System and lasted about one hour. That's a little to long. Going to cut it down this year to 30 to 40 mins.
@snowlover71 Hi and thanks.. yes it take about 2 days to wire it all together.. Every year I try to add something new and to make it a better show. I have been doing it about 20 years now.. Wow I am old.. hehe.. It's fun.. I have more and more people every year watching. Thanks again.. Do you do a show?
with xtra-long Morning glorys and fast fuse them together.. works pretty good.. 2011 show has them too.. and I will be having them in the 2012 show also with a lot more.
Looking good Bruce. Can you send me a link to that cheap HDPE pipe too? I am looking to expand my show next year. Did you get a wireless firing system? Any suggestions on one for about the size show you did?
Great set up Bruce. Glad you got some hdpe and a firing system . I really like the signs and the wheel it's a touch you very rarely see in a private show. Do you do all the flarework?
Hi and the for info. I have had a lot of people write and help me out and I am going to buy all HDPE pipe for next year and get a firing system also. Thanks Again, Bruce
Hi, yes they will but I have changed it all to black pipe. You will have to watch my other video's this one is 2010. If you do use pvc tape it up good with duck tape.
Two things: First, there are many companies to buy from. Do some exploring - look especially into wholesale purchasing (Big's, Hales, Spirit of 76, Victory, etc.). You'll be shocked by how much Phantom is ripping you off. Second, and I see you've responded to many on this topic; please don't use PVC. You put yourself and those around you in a lot of danger. Thee damage even a small (consumer) shell can do to a rack that's made with the proper tubes (fiberglass or hdpe) is scary enough.
Wayneright if you get a coupon or buy 1 get 2 it's not so bad. I have $2500 worth of stuff for less than $900 from Phantom thanks to coupons and deals.
I watched you video... you have a lot of stuff. I time my fuse so that when one cake is ending the next one is starting and I try to put the better cakes and shells at the end of the show.. Did you video the firing of your show?
What types of shells do you use in thos PVC oipes and what size is the pipe? I dont plan to get PVC pipes but i need the sizes because a store by us sells high density tubes but not in 1.92" sizes...
Nice set up Bruce. If there was ever a backyard fireworks guy that needed a wireless firing system it is you. You are doing the boards correctly for the most part but need to control the show a little. The system is one step up from the endless fuse. I am curious what state you are from? Love the welcome and good night signs
Dave you are embarrassment you claim safety and there's nothing safe about you you're very very swiping your arms over and showing people something on 1.3 display is absolutely revolting and now you're on here and you don't mention anything about the PVC this guy had all the money to buy fireworks but wouldn't spend it on hdp he did the next year after he get told on TH-cam what to do you're a joke. Charging people for videos when you can't even do one properly pulling back shrouds sticking them in lift charges at the same time saying oh I know this is going to cause some comments How do you live this double standard secondly you and Cody B are two of the same people How does it feel we hated on Facebook and you guys were walking around Arrogant with a big ego thinking we're just jealous you're both out of your fucking minds..
I made it.. but it was a little to heavy and it did not work very good. Go to Bruce's Backyard Fireworks - Pershey Family Reunion 2012 .. I made one there that worked and you can see it working.
@stevespyrochannel Hi and the for info. I have had a lot of people write and help me out and I am going to buy all HDPE pipe for next year and get a firing system also. Thanks Again, Bruce
Guys whatever you do NEVER use PVC. I have personally seen it blow up on the lift charge and fragment into someones leg. Also, the same night it happened multiple times (fragmenting). This was a very long time ago before we had youtube. I was young and it was a learning lesson. Since then i never let anyone shoot out of anything other than HDPE, Fiberglass or simple cardboard tubes. Im sure you have good intentions Bruce. You seem like a nice guy, just don't want anyone to see this and think they can use it.
Hi, I made the racks but I pay for the HDPE black pipe. I do still have a few pvc pipes but I am buying a other 100 HDPE tubes this year and throw the pvc pipes away. PVC Not safe.
PVC is unsafe regardless of whether it is wrapped with tape or not, and should never be used under any circumstances. HDPE or fiberglass tubing should be used.
Hi Donald.. I do not have PVC any more I have black pipe and it is pluged... buty thanks for watching.. please take a look at some of my other video and you will see
For the love of fireworks and safety of other's either take this down or make a note that you realized that using PVC is dangerous. NEVER EVER use PVC pipe. It will be a grenade going off in front of you and can travel hundreds of feet.
Thxs for watching my show.. I do not use PVC any more. You should watch some of my other shows.. I am not sure what size black pipe I use but I know the 1.91" heavy duty DR-11 HDPE plugged mortar tube.
@@SirBruceDetects Yes just watched 2011 preshow. Thank you. I just don't want to see anyone hurt. Esp since this video has so many views and is on pintrest. Firework safety is utmost importance. NO. PVC is NOT safe. When a shell flowerpots (breaks in the tube instead of in the sky) the pvc with rip apart into razor sharp shards of shrapnel. Glad to hear you’re not using PVC anymore. Thank god you never got hurt or even worse got somebody else hurt. So lucky.
Hi and thanks for watching my show. This years show should be up soon.
I recommend that you go wholesale and avoid the purple ghost next year. You will get about 4x the fireworks for the same price.
