Many thanks for this. I have just glued the tie rod and realised it stops the steering from moving (Yes I am a bit slow). Next job is to order some drill bits.

I've just bought this model kit, I haven't built a model in 17 years.

Nigel, Had no idea you would so quick and spot on with my question.I did get as far as pin for tie rod BUT tie rod can fall off ,so the washer method is what I need and will do.The only problem I have is,,,,,, making the spindles move freely and the tie rod were the first part of the manual.Did not realise until your demo that I will need the steering rod and pitman rod modded to!!!!I will do the washer mod and set the wheels to a pleasing angle and set at that. Pushing the envelope for me Nigel. Thanks for the help, the way to show and explain things is excellent.

I meant to say regarding the Model T Ambulance lenses, is it worth using the punch set to create some using a clear sheet ?
I've used something similar to glaze a round brass window surround in 1:48 scale locomotives and it seems to work.
They will be fitted to the cab front on this build th-cam.com/video/qyKJEa8S5aY/w-d-xo.html
