If the meta is gonna be super overrun by single-target Attackers, aside from jacking up the value of Protection, I really hope it also gives a chance for them to start introducing SSRs with "adjacent" attacks. The idea of having to consider your actual team placement has always fascinated me from a strategic standpoint (you have to choose which enemies you CAN'T attack with your multi-target).
its not overrun by single target. Julius' S2 can literally WIPE teams.
@@Gikku Well I just mean if that's the trajectory of most foreseeable future Attacker units. My MAIN point is just that I want SSRs with adjacent attacks that would otherwise be considered OP if those attacks were full multi-target skills.
@@OneGamer2EnvyThemAllI pretty get what you mean, like the same gacha game am playing right now Dislyte, there this unit Zeus who is considered as an Adjacent unit, so OP when alone and not alone but can also be a weakpoint to ther units....
I do see Black divider Asta in the same stance as Zeus so he gonna be a very OP unit in this game BUT not OP in some team comp...
Doncha worry BCM developers is not that d*mb to create a very OP unit without countermeasures... even the current considered Valk Noelle META is still being trashed by weak teams 😅

i think its gonna be % hp lost and not the other way around, but the other way around makes a bit of sense since he puts himself in a low threshhold and it makes sense since having many health would help you not get one shot but on the other hand attackers are also of paper so idk whats better, im just happy they announce him
You briefly talked about Black Divider Asta's ultimate with Black Asta potentially leaving meta, but I think you might have missed the other implications of that. If Black Divider Asta does more damage proportional to the enemy's defense, that also means that a lot of currently built debuffer/supporter sets become less valuable. It would be interesting to see if this one unit could result in a massive gear building shift towards HP and away from Defense, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Didn’t think of that. If his passive is the “HP lost = damage up” one everyone’s been talking about, that’d be the perfect set for him.
You’d definitely need to incorporate some defense and attack in your gear substats tho so he’s not just a tank with ok attack at 30%

I really like him but I think this unit is still pretty odd, like 40% HP not 30% HP with skill 2, gonna be one shot by many units, the HP thing. It's weird.
