      She's actually on the Central and Bakerloo lines, and some 'Mind the Gap' announcements.. Although they've dubbed in Sarah Parnell at some stations (Bank, White City etc) since the start of year

      camjkerman She’s not on the S-stock trains, she use to be the voice of the D-Stock trains. The voice of the S-Stock trains is a woman called Sarah. Emma’s voice is on the old 1967 stock trains that use to run on the Victoria line, the voice on the old C-stock trains that use to run on the Circle line, the 1972 stock on the Bakerloo line and the 1992 stock on the Central line and some mind the gap announcements.☺️

      No. Only for the District line D stock, Bakerloo and Central lines. The Circle line C stock (2009), Victoria Line 67 stock, Hammersmith and City and the District line C stock (2009) are announced by Sarah Parnell

    She didn't deserve it, why should any of this concern her job role?

    • @atraindriver
      @atraindriver 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's called "bringing the company into disrepute" and pretty much all companies will take action against it.
      As it happens, she wasn't actually sacked, because she wasn't a TfL employee. She's a freelancer so takes work on from anyone who'll pay her (if she wishes to) and TfL decided they wouldn't offer her any more work in the future. That's their choice, and it's probably something she took into account before releasing the recordings on her website. She wasn't a teenager who did things for giggles and kicks without thinking about the possible consequences, after all.
      From her point of view she probably got more bookings (and thus earned more) because of the notoriety this brought her.

      Yes

    • @atraindriver
      @atraindriver 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, despite the newspaper headlines which show up when you google her. She wasn't under contract to TfL at the time and wasn't in any sense a TfL employee, so she couldn't be fired. She simply wasn't offered any more work by TfL, and I doubt she missed the minimal pay she would have got from them.

    • @ninjaninja9954

      @@atraindriver then she was a contractor and contractors get paid a lot

    • @atraindriver
      @atraindriver 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ninjaninja9954 Depends what her contract was, I guess. It might have been a specific contract to produce X minutes of announcements for £Y, rather than X weeks of employment at £Y per hour.
      Whatever it was, I suspect the hourly rate worked out fairly high but for a short period which means overall she probably wasn't paid a huge amount. I'm only guesstimating, though, so I could well be wrong!

    • @ninjaninja9954
      @ninjaninja9954 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atraindriver no one pays contracts by how much work you do. They pay hourly or daily rate with contracts ranging from around 150 a day to over 1k. I don't think she was getting paid the minimum 150 q day if she really was a contractor
