      Dude he’s been like this the whole time since he got hired by donut. Some of the first episodes he was doing were science based

    Great interview. Jerimiah is serious one of the best automotive content creators. He is real, knowledgeable, and funny. Definitely the next Jeremy Clarkson.

    Donut was what really made me jump right into the automotive world; always been interested but felt it was out of reach due to my lack of knowledge. But now I’ve got a project Miata and three motorcycles, and I love working on them

    Pretty inspiring. I wish Donut wouldn’t have been sold though. They’d probably be making better content with happier employees with more subscribers. It seems like it’s quantity over quality now.

      I don't think you understand the difficulty of running a business in California. It's extremely high tax, expensive to rent the office space, and cost of living. It's ranked 49th out 51 state and district to start a business. It's harder to expand in such a place without backing. Hooligan, Donut, and many other's sold.
      Cleetus and 1320 isn't based in California, it's why they're big but never sold. Cleetus is based in Florida, and 1320 is in Nebraska. Less tax, cost of living cheaper, more money to make more content and hire people.

      California business tax is 8.9%, 5th highest in the country. Then you have to pay your employees in one of the most expensive places in America. You can't pay them $50-60k, these guys are making $100,000 minimum.

    I love the modesty, but Jer was selling himself short a bit when he talked about writing for "one of the other guys". He was writing for James Pumphrey, who was undeniably hosting the most popular segments on the channel!
    Love to see the real creative drivers of the channel getting out from under the heel of the corporate boot.

    As an Engineer myself, I can see a lot of good engineering traits in Jeremaih - learning how to learn and just that grit to solve the problems the right way. It's also having little time for bullshit engineering speak. Love how he combine his love of car, engineering and comedy to produce great content. Wish him every success in the future!
