I’m 60 and I like to see young people actually getting out of bed and working like my generation did when we were young. Especially the girls! Thank God for her! 👍
My sister was on wagons behind a IH 440 baler we did 1700 a day 4days in a row that baler averages 15k bale per year from new 1973 to it's retirement in 2011 has original needles in it still u should see the twine grooves in some spot had to get a nother baler the wear spots started cutting twine now we have 2 IH 440s and 1 IH 445 all in top usable quality 9 77lb bales a minute baby they can handle it if Julie can
Oh, but that 440 can’t turn out the perfect bricks the 1840’s can. If you disagree you’ve never seen the bales an 1840 produces. They are the #1 selling small square baler in the World.
The fan has an auto reverse - that if you watch some of the full vlogs - cleans out every 5 - 10 mins on its own as needed. It’s one of the key features they’d upgraded over the years on these Inline balers - is the Knotter fan.
Well that's unusual, most people that own green tractors usually try to throw twice as much money at implements as possible so their implements paint matches.
@@ChroniclesofKayla The small bales were what we used when I was a kid and they were stored in our hay mow in the barn. Today here almost everyone uses round bales.
At farm show 5 or 6 years ago I think? But Jason said he’d get this one now. It’s similar to what’s in his Big Square. agxcellence.com/bale-flake-counter
Why do you square bale everything You need to buy a round baler It would speed up your hay baling allot I understand u need some square bales plus you sell them but for your own hay a round baler would save u allot time and money Keep Up they great work
We sell 98% of our small squares - it has a lot to do with our Equine Market. They don’t want round bales. We provide hay to 4 saddle seat barns plus several others in different disciplines. We used to round bale. But we wasn’t getting our “worth” out of them - the Large square bales are so much easier to stack/haul and ship out.
We bale small squares in eastern Kansas and the answer is simple. Double the money per ton. If you are set up right equipment and barn wise it is profitable. They know what they are doing
Hay isn’t done until it’s in the barn.

How many bales did you get in the hour? What length and how many flakes per bale?
All I could see was the stopped up fan
It does automatically reverse the other way to blow that out - - jus bad timing apparently on my end of videoing -
Hi watching from tipperary ireland
Wow!! I thought that town only existed in that WWII sound.
You know!
"We are on our way to Tipperary" and i cant remember the rest.😅
Funny how we always called machinery hers,
Well.. that was the shortest video in the history of hay bailing…
My dad had cut rake bale business growing up I feel your pain get it now in the barn
Living the good life with hard work,God ,Family,Country,my beloved Tractor😂
You got that right!

my miniature donkeys would love that sweet feed
I love in-line balers
Same!!!! This is our 4th in-line
She needs her fan grill cleared of chaff else she ain’t gonna eat no more… lol…😉
The fan automatically does it every so many minutes - I’ll try to do a better job catching all aspects of the baler this next hay season
Need to clean out that cooling fan shroud.. other than that, nice work!
It auto does it - abou every 5 mins or so.
@@ChroniclesofKayla auto clear...? Damn fancy! Haha!
Best wishes from the west of ireland
Si todos tuvieran un tractor así, quien más daría mano de obra a los personales? Los humanos estamos dejándonos de lado unos a otros
California tried this too... jail bails
FARMERS IN AMERICA, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND TOIL FOR US! GOD BLESS YOU, YOUR FAMILIES, AND YOUR CROPS IN JESUS NAME.
Thank you!
Do they have a residential style?
Wow there must be alot of money in farming.
I guess the one I was pulling bales out of was a recreational baler
I gotta ask....
How high speed is the bale picker upper?😂😂😂
I dont miss that itchy shit!
Good flat ground 300 trust me I have that baler
She’s a beaut!!! I think at one time on the most perfect conditions. She did 420 an hour.
May wanna clean that cooling fan grill on the bailer, otherwise that "commercial" bailer aint gonna be so commercial for long.

How much rain did you get? We only had one and 1/10. My understanding is you were much drier than we were across the creek from Quincy.
3 inches & some in the last 24 hours. I know other places south of us 50 miles got 6-12 inches

Well that's unusual, most people that own green tractors usually try to throw twice as much money at implements as possible so their implements paint matches.
Kayla how many bails can y’all put up in one day?
Small square Hay wise / 1200 to 2500 typically but I’ve done 3600 with straw a few years back
not like my 67 New Holland
your is killing it
We do love our baler!!!!
Hola buen día como estás? Me gusta mucho todo lo que haces 🥰🥰💘
Depending on the density of the crop in the field, and the size of the bailes
That electric pusher fan .. can't eat anymore grass . Hope it's not essential.
How much does each bale weigh
Small squares - 42-45 pounds is our norm (that our customers like!) … as for large squares 750-900 depending the hay quality.
@@ChroniclesofKayla The small bales were what we used when I was a kid and they were stored in our hay mow in the barn. Today here almost everyone uses round bales.
Massey is legendary
The side of those balers say Massey Ferguson by HESSTON.
Dont know if im surprised or disappointed at the lack of "stroke counter" jokes in the comments.... Ha!
A good moderator does help … try to keep it clean - as we have several of our kids friends watch the channel.
International 84' can handle 600bales per hour. With plastic twine. It takes 40hp. So its 11 tonnes per hour. Dry. Timothy
Where did you get the Stroke Counter? I need 3!

@@ChroniclesofKayla thanks!!!!
MF 128 could eat some hay also!
You need to clean your fan shroud out.
I would call it he considering the size of the shaft in the front
I used to load 8 semi's and unload into barns working for a wholesaler who purchased from Canada Quebec and north of Maine gee was I lean
At 260
185 190 depends on your speed and how many hay is on the windrow
Don't get a speeding ticket!! Lol
😂😂😂 you kno me all to well huh??
we did it by hand
Thats not a commercial baler and baling 300-400 bales is my back yard I would not even bother
👍
❤❤
Fans blocked up !
I’ll jus have to make a time lapse of how the fan works - - it auto reverts kicking all the dust/chaf out every 5-8 minutes.
Is the tractor male or female??
Lol 😂 I call it a “She” 🙃
9.000 bales
We did over 25,000 for the 2022 year 😅
Imagine doing this in Ukraine knowing mines are everywhere
Not many if you don't clean the cooling fan on bailer
👍👌❤🇨🇦
why is it a her and not a him?
Farmers with nail polish 😢
I’m guessing you prob haven’t caught too many of my other vlogs then?
350 ??
is that a hessten bailer?
Yes!! We love our Massey 1840
@@ChroniclesofKayla don't blame you... We have one and there awesome!
This is our 2 1840 over the years! Definitely wouldn’t change - I love mine. That’s for sure
@@ChroniclesofKayla I agree... So how many bales did you get out in that hr?
220 Bailes per hour., 😅
I can’t remember- but we usually strive for like 330-420 or so. Lol 😂 def probably won’t hit that this year just with the lack of rain.
So your Massey bailer identifies as a woman ?
Sure why not??? A woman runs it.
😳🤔👌
So about 100 bales in an hour.
We roughly can bale 380-420 an hour depending on the type of hay, humidity & moisture - -
A typical woman rambles about a story and doesn't give you any information.
I’d say …. That usually a woman gives you plenty of information you might jus have to watch & listen more?!
@@ChroniclesofKayla no offense meant. Yes always get lots of information just not what is needed...i.e. how many bales of hay.

Aqui no Brasil, o feno retangular é mais fácil de vender , o fardo redondo não tem muita aceitação, ótimo vídeo legal
How does your bailer feel about you placing gender pronouns on it. Maybe today it wants to be a he, or an it. 😅😅😅
Doesn't that just sound stupid 😊
