i wish there was a more established set of rules, things like the castle in the wii games shouldnt have counted since youre not really TOUCHING them.
or maybe it shouldve been avoiding the color in general; example being like you could grab a mushroom from the bottom as it has a white or skin-tone color to it

Personally I wouldn't count foreground objects in the 2D games, especially for those foreground objects that dont change state when you touch them.
Also for objects like the ? Block, I'd only count it as yellow and never white.
Also for water, I'd count that as clear almost everytime its present, unless if there's no reflection in the water OR if it's very vibrant.
Bathaniel is apparently colorblind for the first half while Nathaniel is helping edit to see when he wins or game overs
It’s not Nathaniel I’ve seen the editor comment on a cup head challenge (oh wait was that a joke).
backgrounds or bad hit boxes should not count. Period.
I feel like sometimes these videos boil down to “ugh, I touched the coins, can’t believe I touched purple 😔”

I loved this series, even though it was hard, Bathaniel kept going and making good progress
With Super Mario Wonder now out we need a "don't touch colours" video for that game.

NSMBW: "This one, I don't think we're going to get far because I'm fairly certain that the first level starts us on a green patch of grass."
SMG2: "This is why Nintendo needs to stop having the same World 1 level every time, it makes this challenge virtually impossible for all the games."
SM3DL: "I just want to land on top of the fricking bridge. I-"
NSMB2: "I'm really not expecting anything good at this point. I'm expecting green. Maybe not?"
NSMBU: "Gotta admit. I think I'm just going to push the A button like I just did and that'll be it."

Honestly a majority of these "failures" seem rather harsh. Like a blue flower having a yellow center is ridiculous to count as yellow. Especially when it is something like a bolt on a platform or a jewel on a flag... Or the SHINE on a bush?
Like... some things make sense. Like the Mushrooms having yellow or white. But saying that a shinemark on a bush counts as white is aggressively harsh.

it would be a lot better if you tried to see how many levels you could beat without touching each color
and not moving on when you accidentally fail

playing Color Splash with any of these challenges (in my opinion) would be horrible to try , I also think most of the other paper Mario games would be hard as well but color splash is probably the hardest😊

You really shouldnt count the ground or flowers (Flowers in the 8bit games is probably ok?)
The ground should be counted in my opinion because his rules say if it is interactable or in the foreground it counts.
For don't touch red, I think it's technically impossible because Mario wears red in nearly every game and that means he is touching red.
He just said he's not gonna count that Cuz if he did these videos would've never been made.

for brown in sm3dw even if he did touch the bottom, he wan not in control so he can move on to the next level if he wanted 2
also in the brown vid he considered the door in sm64 to be brown but in the orange vid sm64 he lost bc a color picker reveiled that the sm64 door is orange
