Plot:

I loved this movie. Will put it on the shelf with Bodyguard, Bridges of Madison Cty and The Notebook....for when I want to get my romance on! And Idris shirtless is the icing on the cake!

Flim makers had started to put this kind of thing on the DVD which I always made a point of watching because I would than appreciate much more the amount of WORK that went into the making of a flim...but now with the likes of Netflix....

I just read the book - Ben was an orthopedic surgeon, he breaks his ribs, she broke her leg. The dog was a Jack Russell. The backstory was amazing in the book but from what I can gather, the movie changed the story so drastically that not too many people liked it.
That’s why it’s not advisable to watch movies derived from books. What you picture in your head never turns out to be what’s on the screen. Like Life of Pi. Hated the movie cause it could never capture the imagination created by the book.
And that's exactly how Harry Potter movies fully ruined that storyline for me.

how are this two people stuck in mountain by themselves, there are so many people around them, they did not ask of those people to help them out, rather moved through snow all by themselves. thats sad. :P :D but glad, in the end Idris is luckier than Jack (Leo)

That is why it is best to watch the movie first & then have the extra surprises when u read the book
