I've seen this as a teenager in 1990 in a cinema but of course didn't make sure to remember the name. When I was an adult from time to time I thought about it every year or so, still couldn't remember enough of it to get it from Ask Jeeves and later google. Early 2000s when christmas shopping in the DVD department of a shopping mall just browsing movies suddenly I had Body Double in my hands and like a lightning strike I remembered this is the long lost film. A really magical moment, standing there in the festive decorations, golden lights, smile on my face and a deep sigh of contentment.
He thought he was watching her, but she was watching him. He thought he was trespassing.. but he was invited. He knew he had gone too far, but he couldnt stop. He saw exactly what she wanted him to see
This is one if the most beautiful pieces of music ever, I've been hunting this for decades, only a few pieces if music ever escaped me , this is so damn haunting and Breathtaking, I may have it played at my funeral as I pass on , soul smiling knowing I couldn't have a more beautiful piece of music to leave this world ,it is truly stunning, thank you so much 👏👏💃🕺😎😎💘💘
War damals 10 Jahre, wie es raus kam. Münchner Freiheit war absolut Kult 👍🏻. Ich liebe die Musik heute noch sehr. Es war ECHTE Musik. Der Sound meiner Kindheit und Jugend.
This song really does sum up the emotions of voyeurism quite well, the music is soft and pleasant like tender skin, drawing you in. The repetition creates a hypnotic state, a mood of intrigue, mischief, sensuality, and most of all the raw excitement and dizzying thrill of such an experience. Beautiful.
It's available on iTunes for either 99¢ or $1.29. That, or-if you don't mind stealing and screwing the guy who did the music-turn this vid into an mpeg.
It actually does capture that totally--the ambient and spacey sound. I have been looking for the right context to describe this stunning track for well over 20 years. Great point.

This music… that sexy, forbiddenly voyuered nude dance… AND, Deborah Shelton’s breathtaking eyes and beauty… left such a profound impression upon my 14 year old mind about a woman. I sought her eyes and beauty in a woman for years until I finally found one and fell in love with her. And mine never knew my attraction and pursuit began YEARS before she ever came along. I feel lucky that I found one that brought up all the feelings that I recalled from my 14 year old fantasy.

Brian DePalma took alotta 💩 for this movie with the inclusion of pornographic themes but I love the movie for the way it looks . Its a movie you need to watch with headphones 🎧 . DePalma never made a bad movie .
Unforgettable. Could not believe what I was hearing when I first saw the movie. Donnagio, what else can we say.
I’m 19 really wish I was alive in the 80s. This song is super nostalgic. I love it
80's ans 90's is most beautiful era of the movies and cultural evolution.

Just like clockwork.
Like OnlyFans.
This will always stay one of the instrumental sounds that defined the '80's, together with the fantastic music of Risky Business..
Little bit of Scarface in there too.
this is what music should be. it's like Goin to heaven.
You got that right!
This statement could never be upvoted enough.

The Sound of the 1980s...
It was necessary almost 40 years to appreciate such a decade.
Brian De Palma is a cinematic genius... Melanie Griffith is the hottest actress of all time... These are the words of truth.
Truly biblical. 😂
One of many reasons I stay alive.

Why can't someone, somewhere, release this on vinyl? There's a CD out there, but it's pretty rare and expensive.
It's available on iTunes for either 99¢ or $1.29.
That, or-if you don't mind stealing and screwing the guy who did the music-turn this vid into an mpeg.
I got the now rare Intrada release on CD, cost me $19.99. I pre ordered it back in 2008.
VINYL would be super. It's a great score.
Never has voyeuristic intention felt so tender and romantic.
pic of this modern year ..
as heard in the Fantasy Island trailer (2020)
Melanie Griffith at "Body Double", more beautiful woman is hard to find...
She was incredible in this.
It sounds like Goldfrapp
A little.😊
The music itself is voyeuristic.
Well said. It is soft and sexy as hell.
Reminds me of the new love attitude of the 60s - 80s. I love that sweet voice that cuts in. So Hippish.

Great song, terrible movie. Felt like I was watching a cheap kiosk romance novel brought to film.
Know what you mean but thanks to Pino and Frankie the film was transformed into a masterpiece, even if it was a bit kitsch.
When the sound spoke louder than ten hundred photograms.
