    I purchased a joov panel about 5 years ago for skin care. I found it helped SOOOO many other things including my vision. I think my eyesight is better today than 5 years ago...I no longer have dry eye issues, which I did nightly and I don't use my glasses any longer. I'm over 40.

    So what's the update on LLLT therapy..? 2 years since this video about it. It's the best current MGD dry eye treatment, from what studies say. Much better than IPL and Lipiflow.

    Hi, thank you for the information, how exciting the current uses are expanding. I currently use my Celluma Pro for wrinkles and it’s the best thing I’ve ever used…and I’m a retired aesthetician so I’ve been able to try many devices over my lifetime.
    In the video you suggest uses such as dry eye AND rosacea…I would also like to ask…1. What setting on the celluma should it be( acne, wrinkles, or aches and pains) for dry eyes? And for rosacea?

    Great topic and video. I've read a lot about LED therapy for skin care, but not so much for eyes. Could you please do a video on the benefits of the different LED colors for Eye Health? When patients get this treatment in your office are their eyes open or closed?

      YES Vegtbull ! I love this multi question! I would love to hear the benefits. I was thinking of getting goggles that aren't transparent like the ones that come with Celluma. I love the celluma so much, (just got it) but i would be so frustrated with myself if hurt my eyes while using it. I would love to know if patients use it (I believe you give them the option?) ALSO I would LOVE to know why it says WARNING in the instructions manual IF it's not dangerous. THANKS AGAIN for your time I truly appreciate you. Dana

    Thank you for the video! So just to make it abundantly clear, I can indeed use the celluma without the protective goggles that are included in the box? I am concerned about prolonged use and it’s subsequent effect on eyesight…

      Glad you said this as I've been using my Celluma for around 6 month's and I don't wear the eye protector's and I'm always really worried my eyes may go bad. I say this as I have noticed my eyes feel constantly slightly blurred but I dont know how much of that is from my cosmetic creams and wearing an eye mask to sleep. The eye mask contains copper peptides and it does push against my eye lashes so maybe it's that rather than the actual LED light or near Infrared.

    • @nikitaanita9954
      @nikitaanita9954 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jayedwardsuk5984 thank you for sharing, Jay. It’s interesting to hear your experience. I have opted to use the goggles because There are some websites online that say that “blackout” goggles should be worn with LED skin lights. However, information online isn’t always accurate. Strangely, the Celluma goggles included in the box, are not blackout. They are just shaded. So I called the Celluma company and asked if they must be worn, and the sales lady said no. However, when I asked if the safety profile has been confirmed by an ophthalmologist, her exact words, “I don’t think ophthalmologists know what this is” … needless to say, this wasn’t reassuring. I was hoping I’d get a more conclusive response to my comment here on this video, but no luck. It does appear that she’s using it without goggles in the video, but daily consistent use at home may be a whole other story. In terms of your vision being slightly blurred, please be super careful. It could be the creams and mask, but if you’re not 100% sure, proceed with caution. This is still a fairly new technology originally created for muscles and skin. And there’s still some contrasting opinions out there. Your eyes are the priority.

      @@nikitaanita9954 That it such an in depth generous response thankyou. From now on goggles will be worn I will purchase blackout on-line. What is interesting though the UK distributor/ sales rep Paul verbalised to me it's always recommended to wear them however it's not dangerous for eyes is what I was told . He also said he doesn't wear the goggles himself as he wants the full benefit around the eye area. To add i had an introduction course to Celluma to gain the basic protocol/ understanding of use for this device to be able to obtain a certificate of attendance/ entry level for potential client use you could say. One of the questions I asked was is it safe to use without goggles and the lady's response was it's fine we wouldn't recommend it generally but it won't effect the eyes negatively... Something along those lines. I really appreciate the feedback.

      Update- As you know I had been using Celluma without goggles for a considerable time and my concern over not wearing the goggles etc. I had an indepth eye test plus an OTC scan yesterday. To my surprise all came back normal and no changes from my previous routine check 18 months ago. I have a slight left eye prescription but that already existed way before I had the Celluma.
      I say to my surprise as I was convinced my eye health had been affected by not using the goggles whilst using the Celluma.
