My take on the Jinjer songs that don't land for me is usually the music isn't my favorite and since Tati is building on that foundation for her lyrics and vocals that's what makes the difference. But the origin of this album in the siege of Kyiv seems like it's pushed their musical compositions, and that's similarly giving Tatiana great material to work with.
Don't you think the singles are coming out too soon, the first one was back in August, and the album is coming out in February next year! This is crazy!
Micro gave every song with lyrics a video, and they released them basically in reverse order of popularity which is quite a flex. Macro almost got a video for every song with real lyrics - only Pausing Death didn't. Wallflowers every song was worthy of its own release.
I've heard it once and I liked it . Not going to listen anymore till the album comes out. I'm finding nowadays bands release so many vids for upcoming albums that you know half the album before you listen to it.
Funny observation. To be fair though, the lyrics are pretty tough to comment on if you're not well read in Kafka and continental philosophy, and I'd venture a guess that not many reactors are.
you can't really be influenced singing, your singing voice is the one you're born with. She happens to sound like Gwen yes, but not because of influence.
@ryanexsus I disagree. Tatiana clearly adopts different singing voices. For example, verses 1& 3 of Pisces are one voice (Gwen Stefani?), verse 2 pushes a more nasal voice (Britney Spears?)
I generally dig this band, but this one didn't land for me. It felt like two very different songs smashed together but missing a cohesive throughline. Again, I won't always like everything, but I think this may just be too far down the spectrum of progressive metal for me.
The bass sounds soooooo thick. As a bassist and Eugene being on of my favorite bassist I’m so in love with this
Another solid single. Looking forward to this one!
This album is sounding better than Wallflowers imo so far
At the blastbeat I really felt like warmth in my heart, like I was given a touching gift
Killer track. Loved this one
Lol nice proggy jazz death metal banger😂😂........deep insightful lyrical poetry from tati based on themes from franz kafka's novella.
Amaizing track!🤟🤟

So true... we have already 3 songs (out of 11) and probably they will release something else

@@j.f.fisher5318 Yes, but videos were put out after the album release. Now, we have already 3 singles and 3 music videos.
@@adornetto__ 4 if you wanna count Fast Draw
@@ДенисКондратьев-у9ъ I'd blame the record company. 2024 is Kafka's centenary, so the band clearly expected the album to be released this year.

As usual, when confronted with a lyric video, reactors discuss the music 😉

@hemlock399 But they don't even seem aware that there is an issue.
@@johnbriggs3916 True.
Good lyrics.
You can tell Gwen Stefani was a huge influence on Tatiana... When she sings I think it's Gwen lol
Me too. Hopefully she’s a No Doubt fan and not a GS solo career fan.

@@ryanexsus I disagree the way she moves her words around sounds just like Gwen... But I get what you are saying

I love Jinjer. But I gotta keep it a buck and say this track is not offering much we haven't already heard, unlike Daughter and Rogue.
