I have been in isolation period 5 yr now and in that time I was in financial crisis with one appeal after another, sexually assaulted few times, lost my cat, mother and friends and family walked out on me . Not much change but I am stronger than ever to receive my blessing 🙏

I am not perfect, and I do fall short. What really hurts me is seeing those who don’t even believe in God or worse, denigrate his name; seeing them rewarded with their “table”. Through my shortcomings, I’ve always strived to uphold his commandments and for the exception of a period of doubt in my youth, always had him in my thoughts. Even in doubt, I realize now subconsciously I’ve always held Christ as my ideal. And yet for nearly 2 decades I’ve faced loneliness, loss, trial and tribulation; every small success inevitably overshadowed by a larger failure. Living in a western country I’m fully aware there are others who live a far harsher life than I do… but I almost feel like that suffering offers meaning, whereas I’m left to accept my “suffering” in a 1st world country as arbitrary and meaningless… a gift of sorts in comparison to others, while being forced to watch others live lives of hedonism and be rewarded with abundance and happiness. Truly feels like a cruel joke sometimes…

What many of us don't understand is the patience that is required. It will sometimes take years to get through some stages of faith and growth.
