I found out in December the mother of my special needs son has secretly been getting paid behind my back from IHSS as a caretaker for our son possibly since we brought him home from the hospital in 2015 after spending 6 months in the NICU.she secretly kept me off the birth certificate so she can claim to be a single mother and keep all the money from IHSS to herself which is fraud. this has been going on since possibly 2015.i didn’t know what IHSS was when my son was born but his mother and her family knew.our son was born at 1 pound 7 ounces at 24 weeks with severe brain bleeding.we knew he would be a special needs child.unfortunately it wasn’t until December of last year when I realized all the benefits my son gets from being disabled.my sons mother is getting $5,100 from IHSS ..I never once saw her bank account in all 9.5 years of the relationship.now I’m in debt for the first time of my life. I owe my attorney $1,400. Just got put on child support and already owe over $3,000 and I have $500 in the bank.im waiting for a miracle.she is custody of my son. She is lying to the court claiming that I’ve never been part of my son’s life because she claimed to be a single mother the past 9 years even though we lived together the whole time.we lived with her mother and 3 sisters and they were all in on it. Please pray for me………………
