I wanted to explain this last year but couldn't do my own recording and then could no longer play after the October update. That technique works well if you want that open space on second story to see into the first story. Sometimes I did the clear glass look if the second story had an archway doorway that in real life is like a covered patio. But having it be a patio on second story and being able to look thru the clear glass is also neat. I love how you can simplify build hacks. ❤ I go into details too much.

how i make the light come to the house from the windows in the sims 4? I don’t know if I explain myself very well but like, when you show how it looks the roof window you can see in the floor the light, how I make that in my simis 4?

I followed all of your instructions and it isn't working. :( My roof keeps closing in on the platform, even when I use the glass roof option. Pretty sad about that. Ugh. Thanks anyways for the tutorial.
Mine does that, too. You should be able to delete the ceiling/flooring in just the center of the circle and still have a glass roof over it, but I don’t know if that works for a circle or not yet because I haven’t tried it. You might end up with an octagon.

You can activate only base game items clicking on "filter items" on the right side of the screen
