I was 10 Years Old at that time back in 1979! Always wanted a Happy Meal but always chose the Big Mac or Filet O Fish! In which That totally DQued me out of that League! One Regular Hamburger or Cheeseburger Just Didn't cut it in my Growing Boy Appetite Stage! Overall Still a Milestone in McD's History! Loved the puppet style talking food on the Menu and Really miss those Days! Thank-You for sharing and God Bless!
I remember happy meals I used to get those a lot whenever we went to a McDonalds as a kid (I was born in 2003) btw so i was a kid and grew up with the ones with the movie promotions and franchise ones
In the description said it was taped in the fall of 1979 and in the commercial it said offer ends July 29, 1979 which it was in the middle of summer. It was two days after I was born in the offer ends.
