I am 46 years, and this september i will visit la palma for the first time. I hope too experience this like you did. And maybe la palma will be my next favorite canary islands.
I hope so to. The only thing that can be a bit frustrating is Kalima when the winds and sand blow in off the Sahara, it usually only lasts a few days. You will 100% have as good a time as us. September should be a fantastic time to go
@@stephonusher8965 it was definitly a great experience. We did 2 guided hikes, one along the water canal and one around the last volcano erruption area. We also went to the stargazing tour. We had a rental car for four days, And visited a great part of the island. Along We did some hikes for ourself. We will come back too la palma thats for sure. Especially because its still quiter then the other canary isles. You will not be disappointed guarenteed
Is it Worth to visit end of December? I alost decided that I will come there. I was choosing between La Palma and Lanzarote but this video conviced me to come to La Palma
@@UkuBxlUku yeah definitely get in asap. The last time we booked a ferry on black Friday from Huelva to Tenerife and the earliest date was Jan 25th. December is an awesome time to go as it's just before the water temperatures start to drop to winter lows.
Great video! Looks as though you spent some time in a van. Would you recommend staying in a rv or van? Headed there in November and we are undecided if it’s a wise choice compared to an air bnb or hotel.
I am a bit biased to the Van. The only problem is there is a lot of up and down. The spot at Poris de Candelaria was a bit nerve racking to say the least. 100 percent that can't be done in an RV, A van with minimum 120HP is ok. The Island has quite a few solid spots to spend the night off grid, we made another video about the best spots to spend the night. Regardless both are good choices as the Island is absolutely Legendary
@@planetlenzokay great! Thanks for the reply. After some research we’ve decided to air bnb. Excited for our trip, your video was a great help thank you!
Cheers Thanks for the feedback. How many did I say it was? I had to rerecord all the audio and repost this video once the channel hit 1000 subscribers so it could be monitized cause the music was copy written. I wonder if I got it wrong the first time as well .
@@andreassauer2762 It's just sad that our species in large part prizes man made comfort over nature.... I completely agree that its much better for the environment and much more enjoyable to visit with less people

Living here for 37 years only can say, its "my island"
That's Awesome! 😎 I can easily see myself moving there at some point in the next few years. So far my favorite place in Spain.

@@kylebonham4021 Our pleasure, Glad this video is finding the right people. You will absolutely love it there, Enjoy La Palma 😎🤙😎
Cool video, but the number of residents is wrong, it is only around 85000. Cheers :)

There is only 88000 people. Not 808000
Damm If I said that I must have turned my brain off. Cheers for pointing it out🤙🙏😎
Much nicer than Tenerifa and G Canaria. No mass tourism
Completely agree. Sadly, that's why a solid chunk of people won't like La Palma
Why sad? The less people come the better, it stays as it is 😊
