  • In Part 1 of a 2-part series, I go over the basics of drafting Star Wars Unlimited. I go over basic strategy for drafting leaders, what cards to look out for when drafting playables, how to find open lanes, and how to look at your deck's curve.

Do bombs exist, and if so, what are some examples and why would you consider it one?

Thanks for the comment! I would define a "bomb" as a card that heavily skews a board state to a player's favor. An alternative definition is that a "bomb" can stabilize a losing board state, turn a stable board state to a winning board state, and convert a winning board state into a win. (I'll talk more about board states & how bombs work within those board states on my next video on Quadrant Theory).
The most obvious bombs would be any legendary: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, etc. But since legendaries are much less common in draft than in constructed premiere, what constitutes a "bomb" in draft is more expansive, and would include many commons & uncommons. I would consider all AT-ATs & Star Destroyers, Cargo Juggernaut, Guerilla Attack Pod, AT-ST, Mercenary Company, and all leader units as bombs - big, beefy units that can finish off a base in 1-2 attacks.
