@@BrightWorksTV Sooooo much refinement. Sending 2 commanders to 4 bases, 2 attacking commanders laser down 1 defending commander each and turns game into 4v8, could work very well. Every com that died to AA coulda been extra damage, too.
Also some earlier, more aggressive raiding from MBT (he had army while enemy had basically none), and if KingCharles (MightySheep) had more aggressively pushed into units, again they coulda dealt a whole lot more damage, keeping the game a bunch more even.
Oh this tactic works for sure. in an 8v8, 2 players stay behind in the base and build up, they focus on energy first. The other 6 players split into 3 kill groups of 2 players each, that way they can get into melee with the enemy commandeer and repair each other after the fight. If all goes well the enemy will at minimum lose 3 bases and 3 commanders and risk losing more if they don't immediately shift to defense.
Aww thank you mate, that really means the world to me. I'm happy to grow with this game and I'm always happy to hear more people are making awesome content about this game
This match played like this because of new patch tryout. LLT dont do bonus damage to coms and D-gun is not effective against coms anymore. Literally immune to it, infact you can essentialy block D-gun from hitting other stuff
Its a cheese. You should focus enemy commanders. 2 commanders min vs 1 enemy commander. And once completed join the other team cumulatively pushing advantage. This might actually work.
Yeah exactly! takes so much coordination but it might just work if you could pull it off! and hey if you do manage too be sure to send in the replay ;)
I think the play could've worked, but they needed a tighter attack. Maybe all of them attack in one spot at a time or two directions, and keep going to each enemy player, rather than dispersing. Also, so meme worthy.
I knew this would show up... As soon as my radar popped i built an aa. Absolutely absurd. I don't think this will ever work because they just give up too much map presence. Just rebuild and take the map with your units xD
@@BrightWorksTV It was the red tick that seen it first. So in an ideal game a few armada players building into bot factory x3-5 ticks immediately... It's going to scout it out long before they get there. And long enough a time for AA to be built at your feet
What widgets are you using for your replays where you can see the stats for certain players near the top of your screen? I just discovered the widgetselector menu and am interested to find more helpful widgets to use.
This game needs built-in voice comms and a better matchmaking system that supports pre-made parties (by default) and promotes team play. The current auto-balancing system is clunky and unintuitive.
And the reason I say this is so that we can start to see more games like this where teams get creative. Voice comms will encourage better communication. We've already got enough APM to deal with in an RTS - don't make us type to communicate!
you've got a great point! I definitely think it'd be tricky but absolutely manageable and it would 100% unl9ock more of this sort of ridiculous high-coordination needing strategies!!
@@BrightWorksTV Yeah, devs will need to do research and choose the appropriate codec and stuff for sure, and create muting/reporting systems to go along with it but it's certainly not the most difficult thing to implement. Hopefully this is something the rest of the community wants because I think it would be very beneficial to make it as easy as possible to not only play with your current friends without running into balancing/communication issues, but to make new friends in-game as well. It's hard to coordinate via text alone and that actually winds up creating resentment towards other teammates who may be struggling to pay attention to the game and the chat at the same time.
That thumbnail of 6 coms just kumbaya-ing by a single lab is just fantastic.
Right? XD
It was epic that everybody joined in to do a bit of a meme. Was loads of fun.
Absolutely hilarious to watch but I do wonder how far this build could be refined... seemed so close... :P

Bonus points if you build a bot lab on the enemy base and resurrect enemy commanders
YEP I think you got it exactly right! I hope I get to cover some more bizarre strats like this because it sure was interesting hahaha
Been checking out other BAR commentators. Everyone has something to offer, but Brightworks is and will be my go to for BAR content
Aww thank you mate, that really means the world to me. I'm happy to grow with this game and I'm always happy to hear more people are making awesome content about this game
@@BrightWorksTV i know most of these games are sent to you, i wouldnt mind seeing some more 1v1's if you come across them
fyi, I can hear your friendly neighborhood crows contributing some commentary
Ahh yes they've learned that there are fresh lemons outside my house

This patch is being tried on purpose? I thought those mechanics were pretty much effective and accepted
Interesting! Definitely makes for some interesting options I suppose XD
The patch overall makes these kind of plays worse, some players obviously did not believe that and tried and failed miserably as seen here. :)
@@raghna It didn't fail because of the changes, it failed because they lost half the Coms to AA. Can still easily use Com to destroy enemy base.
that one commander who dies before he even pass the 1st base ahah, glorious good game
hahaha yeahhh thats one place we might need some refinement XD

That or combining econ to plant radar and artillery on a high spot in the middle of enemy bases at otherwise impossible speed.

I agree! with a little refinement this might become an actual build XD
6:45 Hello Mr.Crow
By your powers combined... I AM CAPTAIN PLANET!
XD it reminds me of SHAZAM
👏👏👏Bravo! Fantastic!!👏👏👏
:D
Loved the video. That was something different and exciting.
Definitely a meta shaker for sure XD
A winning strat, if you don't lose half the Coms to AA.
hahaha indeed!

haha how could it not with a strategy like this XD but yeah i think you're right, this plan needs some revisions

nice
Good strats ngl
Exciting to say the least! XD
What a crazy idea... 🤨😂
right?!? really makes me want to actually refine this build hahaha

I believe its called something like "spec stats"? if you go down to the "S" section its not too hard to find :)
if they dropped 2 commanders each to the bottom 4 players this probably would have worked
Ohh yeah that's a good idea! Get 4 free com kills and tech up Uber quickly
2 groups of 4 coms to build 2 air labs and might work out better for expanding a bit on the spawn side of the map.
Or just repeat the process. 2 on 1 the first 4, then 2 on 1 the second four.
+1
Glad to see you mate :)
ohhhhh im gonna kooom
Noooooooo!!!! XD
This is with the commander update so dgunning enemy commanders is not possible.
1250m on comm death
Ahhhh I see, meta shift perhaps? XD
they shouldn't've split up

Yeah it's definitely a huge apm sink to be hammering away on the keyboard just to request a T2 constructor or a fighter screen XD
