Misting can increase humidity, but it's not a substitute for thorough watering. Water the soil directly for best results. You should water more often in brighter light, while in lower light, you should water less often.

You're right but they can tolerate low light and fluctuating temperatures that's why I've added them to the list. Moreover, they absorb moisture as well.

My snake plant is in the bathroom and doing great ! No windows , once at night I spray it lightly. Low maintenance , doesn't mind neglect ... Let dry before watering from the bottom ...
