@@BakedBananait’s still quite good to me, but no. The best music is in fact, old cinematic orchestras which combined jazz with classical and exotica. Closely related to broadway as well as cinema. Tv music also came from that as a result. This song has a lot of that actually, this is definitely influenced by that, as many things are, but I honestly think that the cute girl thing holds back a lot of anime music. It’s better in moderation. Like utada hikaru singing for kingdom hearts, or “Suteki da ne” from FFX 2 for instance which is ultra cinematic, features a traditional Okinawan vocalist, and is more epic than the damn titanic song. It’s still cute girls, but that’s not the focus.
