Once upon a time… there were tales.
Fairytales were always used to amaze, to mesmerize but also to delight people by saying things about real life that can’t be said otherwise.
In this tradition, the most successful Metal band from the orient, MYRATH, has created a fantasy land, inspired by “Tales of Arabian Nights” to talk about their life in the post Jasmin Tunisian Revolution, epicenter of a movement, which has changed the world.
Following their 10 million cumulated views on the last video “Believer”, “Dance” is the second episode of an epic trilogy full of magic, stunts, and iconic characters as the sailor, the genius, the warrior, the magician and the poor who becomes Prince.

Lots of people in the community like to collaborate and innovate, and have a better connection with fans than overpaid pop celebrities.

I remember when I listened to Myrath for the first time... Couldn't believe such amazing mixture of styles would be possible. You guys definitely made a mark in the history of Metal.
far from the first band that combined Eastern music with metal but they did it good. Big Symphony X fans I can tell. If you want more of this kind of music, Orphaned Land will be right up your alley, they're legends in those parts.

Sadly, Tunisia is not in Eurovision but maybe they could represent France thanks to Morgan. It sure as hell would liven things up. Brilliant, brilliant music. Hope they're expanding their tour of Europe later in the year. Very keen to see them live again.

Myrath is the most successful mix between east and west! Especially on Legacy. The structure of songs and arrangements is revolutionary. As well as a great combination of melodic, progressive metal, symphonic metal, ethnic music, pop music, soundtrack music, AOR, Hardrock. Very tasty! I hope in future albums Myrath will save this recipe :-)

I was looking at a video a few years back, I think it was "best metal songs of 2000-something" that had short clips of various metal songs that had come out that year. The album cover of Tales of the Sands appeared, the drums started playing and I swear, the first 10 seconds of Merciless Times was enough, I was sold. My first reaction was "Oooh! What. is. this?"
Some bands grow on you over time and others are just love at first sound.
