I just got the green version and it is beautiful. The green is dark, elegant and understated. The watch is really versatile and the size is perfect…for me
Same for me ! love the green dial lots , BlackFriday deal made it a must buy ! Got the opaline dial one too, superb too, even has an 18k gold bezel, extra superb !
Like the new grey dial, but not necessarily the cross hair. Just proper sun burst like it is on the blue dial would have done it for me. Intresting that the quartz version is now available in Titanium and on a Titanium bracelet. Would love to see that with the Powermatic as well. Think the grey dial would complement the colour of the Titanium nicely.
I just bought the green dial variant and absolutely LOVE it! Teddy is the reason I started looking into Tissot in the first place for an affordable, but still good-quality, Swiss watch.
I tried the blue, the green and the light turquoise. Fell for the green though. The feel is special, and i love the crosshair. It fills the watch with a slight original touch. I wanted the blue in the beginning, but the green seems warmer. To fill my gap of a blue dial, i'll go for the Seiko alipinist in blue, which i love so much also.
I have two of these, the blue and the silver, they both run at under +/- a second a day, but after 10 to 14 days is within a second or two of true time. Absolutely love them, especially the silver dial. Gorgeous and accurate.
Ever since the first Gentlemens got released, I swore I'd get one if they ever came out with an anthracite dial. When I fist saw pictures of the watch in the color I wanted I wasn't sure about the crosshair but I pulled the trigger anyway. Now that I have it in my hands, I can safely say that the thing is gorgeous and I actually really love the crosshair.

Got this watch (Blue Dial) and I like it, nice watch. However at 7.25 inches I do not have a small wrist. Measured the case at 40.5mm and an end to end lug length at 48.5mm , so this watch most certainly wears bigger than a 40mm watch. Just some real truth from a watch owner, not a salesman, so be careful that this watch is not too big for your wrist.
I feel like the green and silver cross look beautiful the way they laid this out. I've never been a fan of the "T" on the end of the second hand. I'm glad they left it off.....The best looking watch they've done!
An interesting review Teddy, great photography as usual. Tissot was arguably the brand that got me introduced to the known Swiss and mechanical watches. I still have them and to date I have never had any desire to sell one as they occupy different parts of my collection. The new dial colours work well with the applied markers as well. Although I'm not currently in the market for a sport/dress watch at the moment I might just have to pop into the AD when I'm in the area to have a look at both dial variants. Going by my record there is a chance that I might just walk out of the AD with a new member of my collection. During said visit to the AD I'd also want to look at the reworked Visodate you reviewed some time back to compare it on the wrist with my old (current?) model. So many watches yet so little time. I'm sure that's a quote from someone I have no idea who but it's ringing true..
Love Tissot. And, I must admit that your prices on your website are surprisingly on point, even considering the CAD exchange rates. And, btw, I like the camera work in your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Not gonna lie that is one of the better green dials I have seen (after going down a green dial rabbit hole for a bit). I wanna be a Tissot fan but there always seems to be at least one deal breaker on each model. There really is no perfect watch.
The Tissot Gentleman with the silver or blue dial is my dream watch. It’s beautiful. I’d probably buy it with the bracelet and then find straps for it and switch it around. Looks amazing.
Green has the upper hand with stainless steel bracelet. Exceptionally fresh and distinctive to brag about your timepiece. But if you intend to switch it to strap occasionally then the grey has more versatility and future proof throw in too.
I actually went in to a Tissot store to purchase it only to realise that the 40mm size is far too big for me. That weird cross at the centre dial does not help either. Wish they had a 38mm version.
same. i though my next watch would be tissot, until i tried it on my wrist. their automatic watches definitely have the worst size proposition for medium wrist guy.

I love my green dial. Tag Heuer came out 2 years ago with a gray dial, it didn't sell so, it's gone. My green dial Tissot shares wrist time with my blue Tag.
Nice piece a watch you can actually wear and build up patina without caring so much as you go along. I’d go for the leather strap personally as this bracelet has no easy adjustment. The killer is the movement. It’s highly accurate and high tech for your modest bucks. Nice kick about everyday wearer that won’t break the bank. Green doesn’t do it for me personally which is why I went with the black dial a while ago.
