I can see why the bboys won but he still was better than all of them by himself to me. Hat tricks are a krumpers downfall when they dont land and its still such a raw style in the eyes of most hip hop judges who dont fully understand whats buck and the nuances of the dance. Krump to me is a top 3 dance style although not fully understood by most and maybe never will be. When i saw the bbpys win im like what?? But they were just too smooth and their groove anf flows were mistake free while Krump has a lot of improv and liveness that judges dont count which they should because energy is powerful
comments like this is what keeps you in the comment section and them (Krumpers) dancing at events like this to try and win different competitions. Shout out to all styles who prepare all year every year to not only entertain but put themself out there to go against the best in each dance style win lose or draw
Also your last "criticism" is not far off. Krump is actually an extension of a dance called Clownin which is still present and represented at Kendrick Lamar iconic concert this past summer. It originated in LA, Compton to keep kids from the violent crime ridden neighborhoods and get them into something more uplifting and release the energy in a different more controlled way through dance. It has evolved so much since then and its influence is in many dance styles
Konkrete was the best dancer in this event
by fucking far. some of his freestyles were better than most choreos
