We should all share and retweet this presentation. If more people listen and demand a culture of cooperation and collaboration, WE will make Washington more effective.

10:49 - "But there's no way you can understand the perspective and thinking of the other side if you're not willing to think thoughtfully and listen to it."

Very good straight forward ideas for a country that is being manipulated into Fear a divisiveness!

The problem with this system is the game itself. Picture two chessmasters playing against each other. There is three possible out come ie win lose tie. Now picture a game of chess with a group of elites playing the game of chess together but our leaders are pieces on the board. One possible out come our government

Her bias: she considers the Daily Show to be news? Jon Stewart defends it by calling it comedy. emanning1138 is correct about her perspective. She doesn't recognize her own bias.

I wonder why those who approve of the government approve.

I reallly like what you are saying....but PLEASE be fair. Why did you only encourage the Fox viewers to view the Daily Show? Why did you not encourage the MSNBC viewers to watch Sean Hannity as well? Your only example of not supporting critical thinking was an out of context GOP quote. Not open minded of you. Perhaps your very best point was the difference between and race car drivier and politician. Terriffic!

So-so. The points are credible however the speaker violates their own hypothesis by being very biased. She claims to criticize both parties but almost all evidence is against conservationism. So, in her own words, "follow the money". She is a professor. Tendency towards liberalism. Overall OK but very biased.
