Very nice playing. Excellent control on the bass drum and excellent job with knowing the difference and importance of hitting the bell on the cymbal vs a normal strike. Kick ass dude!
Bro I'm not trying to rag on you because you can definitely play but that is not how that song is played... Its more difficult then that...good job tho
@4espritdrummer course, that also depends on the style of the drummer. people that are more jazz style tend to simply take out the middle drum while leaving the highest still on the bass drum
@OpsTsume have you ever tried to do a buzz roll on your snare? where you hold the stick tightly between your thumb and forefinger and you hit the head, trying to make it bounce as much as you can? it's the same thing. It will hurt your fingers at the beginning as your tendons gain strength, but after a while you can get awesome beats out of it.
your one hellish drummer mate. i was loving the double bass work and the improvisation you added in the break part of the song...... i was class!!! ROCK ON!!!!♪♫
it's so fun watching you play the bass drum... i can't really see your legs but with the beaters you can see every stroke delivered confidently and powerfully. fuckin' inspiring it is
@diablosfriend10101 and in the chorus its tom's+china and in the "solo" it toms and snare but even that he do it wrong (its not rly metter..) its awsome!
I am not usually impressed by some of the covers I see... However watching you has inspired me to learn more disturbed music. This was absolutely great. I actually watched it all the way through.
This is one of my top ten favorite vids on TH-cam EVER. Favorite part = 1:24. Every time I hear this song I flail my arms around like that and pretend I actually know what I'm doing. You rock! \m/
the easiest thing to do would be to loosen the springs. there are springs on the sides that are connected to screws and nuts. loosen the nuts accordingly.there should be more of the screw's threads showing above the hole that below if that make sense. another thing to do would be to loosen a lug on the rod that holds the beater-holder and let the beaters rest closer to the drum and retighten it
wizfooty, you use both feet for a double bass pedal. There is one pedal directly in front of the bass drum and the other pedal is near the hi hat stand. The pedal near the hi hat stand is connected to a rod that controls the beater. Hope that helped and wasn't too confusing!
@Wallyballjacker Agreed. I think he might have a little trouble differentiating between a Bass and a Tom if he's playing this by ear. But other than that...Probably best Disturbed cover I've seen today.
PERFECT PERFECT AND AGAIN PERFECT!! i think if someone from a record studio hear you, will they be pleasured and maybe make a record! you are soething dude!
Never heard a drum cover for Disturbed, and all drum covers I saw had the drums really loud and messed up compared to the song, you did such a great job that I'll fav this!
I always thought so if youre doing a double bass roll and whatnot, you can have a set of hi-hats that can be washy, one nice and tight, and one that you can control to be whatever you want. But that's what I thought
@4espritdrummer hey this is probably the best way to get a hold of you, in the beggining, the thing you do with the high hats, its kind on a sizzling noise, how the hell do you do that? iv been trying to figure it out for the longest time, if you could help itd be apreciated, thanks and you rock!
I had to replay the video to watch different parts of it, for example, first time i watched your foot, then the hands, the third time just watched the vid again cause it f*cking rocked.
Very nice. The only thing I can point out is when the drums enter there's a tom groove that goes with the bass drum and the same thing goes with the section right after the drum enters, it needs the tom groove, but other than that, I'm impressed.
Awesome cover, great drumming sound. I see you are using double bass pedals? I don't know why these double bass pedals are used. Would ya care to explain it. Thanks
@bmf912 He's covering the song in his own way. He did a great job! hes got great time and chops. where's your video?? Playing covers doesn't mean you have to play it note for note.
DUDE I LOVE THE SOUND OF YOUR BASS DRUM. HOW DO YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE THAT? WHATS THE DRUMS SIZE? WHAT HEADS DO YOU USE AND WHAT BRAND IS IT? PLEASE WRITE BACK
good sound. However i don´t know if people are aware that 50% of the final sound of a recording comes from mic type/placement and post effects such as compression, etc. (btw the bass has too much low frequency, crank up the mids and highs if you can) About the cover itself, it´s great! :):).
One of the best camera angles i have seen, cause you can see everything including what your doing on the bass drum
I like his style of play plus that is a nice really nice set you can manipulate many styles of play and genre with his set
OH MY GOD I love how CLEAN your kit is! your snare is AMAZING haha you did really good :)
ive watched this drum cover like a million times and cant get over how amazing it is great job on the double pedal btw!
You should do Lamb of God songs as well
Very nice playing. Excellent control on the bass drum and excellent job with knowing the difference and importance of hitting the bell on the cymbal vs a normal strike. Kick ass dude!

@OpsTsume you mean right in the beginning? I dont know if you can call that a sizzling noise, since the hihat is closed tight while i do that.
big disturbed fan and i have to say this is not what i call a cover this is what i call perfection!!! amazing job man keep up the FANTASTIC work! :)
dude ur covers flawless!! this is my favorite covers on this song and easily one of the best on youtube! plus ur drums sound sweet!
dude this was the best drum cover i seen so far, GREAT JOB!!!!!
@OpsTsume have you ever tried to do a buzz roll on your snare? where you hold the stick tightly between your thumb and forefinger and you hit the head, trying to make it bounce as much as you can? it's the same thing. your one hellish drummer mate. i was loving the double bass work and the improvisation you added in the break part of the song...... i was class!!! ROCK ON!!!!♪♫
nice set-up 5* for the way you play..even with the small mess-up brilliantly done!!!
definately on of my favorites!! thanks for sharing!!!
Not how he originally played it but pretty damn good
it's so fun watching you play the bass drum... i can't really see your legs but with the beaters you can see every stroke delivered confidently and powerfully. fuckin' inspiring it is
@diablosfriend10101

Awesome job! I love the camera angle where you can see the bass beaters....
Great videos! Thanks for sharing...

This is one of my top ten favorite vids on TH-cam EVER. Favorite part = 1:24. Every time I hear this song I flail my arms around like that and pretend I actually know what I'm doing. You rock! \m/

machine gun smith has an electronic kit you can tell from the black cymbals, it's a roland v-drum
omg man the beginning is so awesome :D insane cover btw :D
@LaVaBeAvErHD Toms on a stand give you more and easier placement possibilities. The fixed position on the bass drum can be quite frustrating.
wizfooty, you use both feet for a double bass pedal. There is one pedal directly in front of the bass drum and the other pedal is near the hi hat stand. The pedal near the hi hat stand is connected to a rod that controls the beater. Hope that helped and wasn't too confusing!
I love how you did the intro with the double bass... so many people play it on the toms:o!
Holy Sh**. That was the best drum cover to this! Good work! :)
Wow. Dude, you're my idol man. You're the reason why I picked up (or sat down behind) the drum set! Yeah I just started. D:
@Wallyballjacker Agreed. I think he might have a little trouble differentiating between a Bass and a Tom if he's playing this by ear. But other than that...Probably best Disturbed cover I've seen today.

Very well played, love that china!
What kind of beaters are those and double pedals are you using?
@DogAteMySticks the start is wrong, the real version is him playing to toms at the same time as the bass drums
good sound. However i don´t know if people are aware that 50% of the final sound of a recording comes from mic type/placement and post effects such as compression, etc. (btw the bass has too much low frequency, crank up the mids and highs if you can)
