Right on! I'm also a metal detectorist and rockhound. I recently started searching for indigenous native artifacts as well. I bring my Excal 800 on hunts as well. It's nice to be able to go from one type of treasure hunting to the other as conditions warrant. Keep 'em coming!

Never has a TH-cam channel reminded me so much of myself. I’m in the Pittsburgh area and spend most of my time searching creeks similar to you in recent times, yet to find anything to substantial to my knowledge. Keep posting your hunts, I’d love to stay updated.

I agree. I used to eat, sleep and drink arrowhead hunting in south central Pennsylvania. Lost a lung last year and now my boys are taking over. Still, they're finding incredible finds in both metal detecting and arrowhead in the same fields I pounded for years. Yesterday turned up an 1800's clay marble, broken banner stone and a baggie full of pottery shards. How can it be that everybody dont do this?😂

Just found your channel today. I live in Northumberland County. My house overlooks the Susquehanna river. I just got a metal detector for Father’s Day. I cannot wait for post boating season so I can go hunting on the river. Nice finds!

Good find mate. A nutting stone was for cracking acorns not making arrow heads.

Yesterday I searched the Yellow Breeches for an hour. I found 3 scraping tools in one small area ( i left them where I found them). Nothing anywhere else. Stopped to fly fish the white fly hatch.

People will still buy the broken insulators for smelting purposes. They make good bulk material for people doing glass art.

Not too much to worry about on those green insulators being broke cause they have threads inside, and that means they're not that old or desirable.
