Women CAN be powerful, strong and also straight. Mind boggling, I know.
@@HousekiMitai But seemingly a lot of people believe being with a man undermines these features of a woman. There's not much logic to it. xd
@@WowMit It's kinda hilarious, because this kind of thinking is so much more chauvinistic (misogynistic?) than whatever the hell it is they're crying about. Horseshoe effect much.
@@marrlethefirst It's the same with people seeing 'racism' where nobody else thought of it. It's hilarious, really. They're self-reporting yet they don't realize it - even when explained. 😂
@@WowMit if they did think about it that way
Doesnt That means their admitting that men are stronger
@@Blue-y I mean, it's really paradox. But these people like to change the narrative according to how it suits them. When in physical sports ofc they suddenly want men and women separated. But then they complain that women are also separated from men at chance. And at work they wanna be treated even better than men. Portraying any woman together with a male might undermine her own power. It's ridiculous, really.
Its funny to me that she is self inserting into the shoujo manga. Its even funnier people got mad about it
For what? being relatable? What a joke 😂
@@ProfessorNexus I think he meant that it was amusing, in a good way.
@@davefrankom.bercasio9187 I know, and I’m saying people are hating because she is being relatable (as a person who is self inserting)
I can’t believe people complained about this…I mean, I guess I CAN believe it because people are crazy, but come on! They want a character with LESS dimension? The dichotomy makes her so much more interesting, and to some extent, more real.
I feel ya. It's somehow almost difficult to believe these are serious. But as far as I can tell (especially from the further comments) they actually mean it, except for the last one (which has now become a copy pasta).
@@WowMit Which one became a copypasta? Lol
4:40 the lightsticks I can't 😂😂
I love her even more after watching this EP.
"My cute leader of a biker gang can´t be this cute" - She was born to shoujo but forced to shounen
Their tears make me so happy. Straight Women can be Strong too you weirdos.
0:11 I think this is a joke. A vtuber called Aoyama said the same thing about Firefly's trailer, in which she smiled at Caelus when he walked up to her at the end of the trailer. You can find that tweet in her alt account or gacha drama channels.
Yea, it is indeed a joke ! hahaha
But it was so iconic I just HAD to include cuz it was there too under her trailer's tweet. 😂
@@WowMit can't wait for her next hit album "reduced to waifubait" vol.2 when she sees this trailer
currently popularized the archetype of a tough woman or warrior, very strong and leader of a squadron, which seems more like a man, but in the background and hidden from others really has very feminine tastes, and the protagonist discovers that secret that few know.
This is the archetype of Cesar, who is a leader, warrior, the strongest, but deep down she likes pretty things and very romantic shojou, what a coincidence that Wise ended up watching a romantic movie and the most excited was Cesar.
never thought in the english community is complaining about it like wtf because in our chinese community we love that contast in her character!
@@Toruka7487 It's only a minority! However, they're really loud and annoying. Showing off my own excitement is how I want to counter that. :)
Yeah the west has a problem and it's called "Woke".
Does anyone never heard about "Gap Moe" it's literally the thing that makes character unique and have been implemented in many media, seriously why do many think their fan canon is real, the author is god and you are worshipers
you can't expect tourists to know those terms.
@@doug3454 tourist?!, why tourist get mixed with this, of course they don't know. What I want to say is the people who think that their fantasy is canon and actually know what character stereotypes like Tsundere, Deredere and other so why tourist? Tourist is just a person visiting and exploring a country in person
@@aeropine25 a "tourist" in this context is someone that looks at a game then decides that all the things they want to like about it must cater to their interests. This in turn shows they don't actually enjoy or care about the game for what it is, they're just using it fulfill their own delusions. they're just "visiting" the game
@@ZainKanekoOOOHHH I was wondering why people would use tourist in such a harsh way when discussing some media, I didn't know ppl gave it another meaning
@@ZainKaneko oh, sorry for my lack of term, But yeah they just want to fulfill their desire and delusions
Didn’t like Caesar enough, until I heard the EP.
She’s so cute
What made people even think that she was gay in the first place? And even still she could be bi or straight and how would that somehow reduce the character? She is an adorable romantic who is also as dumb as as a brick XD
it makes sense they make the characters straight since they know their audiance and guess what the overwhelming majority are straight guys followed by straight woman so i see no problem here.
@@diegogodet1889 Funnily enough however, a lot of the Honkai Impact fanbase (mostly males) really is not in favor of straight relationships either. They would get really mad if there was only but a hint of a straight relationship somewhere in the game. 😂
@@WowMit I do wonder whether it's really 'a lot of the [insert media] fanbase', or a small but extremely obnoxious and excessively-online part of the fanbase out-yelling everyone else.
@@morlock2012 It's really hard to tell. Tbh, I think it's simply a very vocal minority. But ZZZ especially receives more hate than many other titles. Even has the worst rating on Play Store and App Store. You'll find these types of comments under any tweet of ZZZ-Twitter.
So many people hated the TV mode. But now that it's being less and less featured we don't see an uprise of any positive feedback - instead we see more people speaking out in favor of the TV mode after all.
I don’t really believe audience catering has anything to do with them making Caesar or any character straight. Making Caesar lesbian or bi would’ve honestly been lazy, tired, stereotypical, low hanging fruit imo. Too many of her character archetype just get defaulted to that and it’s getting old. There’s plenty of tomboys out there who are actually girly, straight, romantics on the inside despite appearing and acting boyish on the outside. I think it’s unfair to them that they’re subject to that stereotyping all the time and are “disappointments” if they’re not.
This "strong women scares men" argument is always make me laugh. Maybe in real life some men really don't prefer this type of woman, but in fiction? Damn, I think phrases "step on me" or "crush me" are one of most common when men see strong women in fiction.
@@scover3 These thighs definitely scare me... Scare me of missing out. 🤣
wtf, they just had Jane Doe who obviously goes both ways.
Nothing leading up to this trailer even vaguely insinuated she was going to be gay. Ppl are delusional, they can’t differentiate between reality and fiction. Just because you imagine something about a fictional character doesn’t make it real
It’s ironic because it’s the complainers who are the ones trying to force a tired stereotype on her. Apparently a tough badass woman isn’t allowed to be girly and straight. It’s so cringe how popular and normalized it is for people to proudly hate straight people.
There's some crazy fangirls who think Jane is "for da lesbians" and hate on the JaneSeth/JaneWise ships actually💀
@@BuddyChy The joke is that in the last time a female character archetype has appeared, where she is a warrior, strong and leader, but deep down she is very feminine and likes romance and nice things, but she does not reflect it in her warrior personality, and it is not until the main character discovers that she is not the tough woman she looks like.
@@Rozherhn Jane is a psychologist with a mild sadist streak. She really loves using her knowledge of psychology to torment ppl. I never saw any particular chemistry between Seth and Jane.
It was more a subversion of the cat and mouse roles.
At best I feel like she’s pansexual. Not real physical attraction but an affinity for a personality or emotions she can play with.
There’s also her anonymity. Not even Fairy knows her real identity. Jane Doe being a pun. The name for an unknown person in police reports and “doe” being the name for a female rat
Her cinema text has a strong theme of “stare into the abyss and it stares back at you”. Apparently, she has difficulty with her identity and not losing herself to criminality and her undercover identities.
She might be forgetting who she really is too
@@Rozherhn ????
It's really annoying that every character that appears is automatically in their warped eyes bi or trans. I always wonder what will happen if they put a playable character who is a mother and her semi-adult son or daughter is someone who helps us on our journey hmm. That will be crazy🤔
@@dawnbreaker1721 The child will be trans. Just you watch. 😂
we do have a mother incoming very soon so we will see what good old twitter has to say
While it’s only a loud minority, the lesbians in the hoyo fandom are loud about stuff like this. It’s only ever been them that make a fuss for a characters sexuality from my 3+ years in the hoyofandom. It’s the only thing they really care about
They wouldn’t be mad about it if Caesar wasn’t showing interest in a man. Wise is winning right now because, 99%, thats him she’s putting as the male love interest
But it’s Twitter, happens a lot in this fandom.
it's this bad because of ship wars, gay ships are popular so when a straight ship gets promoted and popularized the gay shippers get pissy (especially if it includes same character)
What's weird is that the only Yuri centric hoyo game is not popular among these people
It's funny all of the romance scene is in Caesar head in shorts she's into romance and cute things meanwhile twitter freaks are outrage she's not gay
Arlecock mentioned 🗣️🗣️
whoever hates on this, ya'll should get some happiness dude! at least smile a bit
Is a very important part of the carácter, but people don't understand it
Well, taking into consideration that we can choose eather sibling it would mean that every character would have to be bi, since they all have trust events and some of them show romantic interest, now unless they change the romantic interest depening on which sibling you choose then it wouldn't matter, alternatively it could just be that she used Wise as the guy in the story because he's the guy she knows the least of her friends and still has an air of mystery, compared to everyone in the outer ring, who knows.
In the end of the day it's just sad seeing some people complain about this.
@@xrosslegends1279 Well, there are occasional differences between Wise and Belle. For instance when taking a picture of Ellen during one scene Ellen demands Wise to delete the pic while in case of Belle she simply asks to send her the pic. What do you make of that? 🤔
But I like your point. A lot of these people preach about LGBT and yet they almost always disregard the B completely.
@@WowMit Apparently some LGBT people actually hate on bi people, which is really dumb, I can understand them wanting to separate the T from them since it has nothing to do with sexuality, but that's a different conversation.
@@xrosslegends1279 That's just crazy for me to hear. Especially considering that theme to be about inclusivity and all. Damn.
@@WowMit Well, some of them just go to the extreme of being exclusive to anything that isn't queer, but also I believe most of the time is has to do with lack of maturity so most of them are probably young or haven't touched grass in a while.
At the end of the day is just a loud minority so as long as the majority criticizes them whenever they get out of hand they might one day see how cringe they're being, that's why echo chambers are bad, lots of people without an ounce of shame nowadays.
@@WowMitit's not really inclusivity they're just using fancy term to get online clout their diversity only includes the lgtv and african Americans which is at best 20%of the population
Meanwhile they're out here excluding white men(really evil)straight white women and asians specifically east asian ones love trying to ruin their culture
Hating just because Caesar is fantasizing, thinking all cute stuff. Mhm yeah i dont know about that one so now we cant be ourselves and have to meet people's expectation if your either cool "your suppose to stay cool not be yourselves and thinking of cute stuff" or if your cute "bro you CANNOT be badass because of how cute you are" like what???? im lost here at this point
It's just some crazy people having issues they can't self insert themselves into gacha characters. 😂
But we see them under every tweet of Hoyoverse, it's crazy. Maybe I'll show off some more and talk about it next time. lol
@@WowMit just feel like the community (ik it’s not all) really has no shame of saying it, I mean ig they are doing this online and people won’t be able to get that person identity irl, but if they were to do this irl in person. Wow such balls of steel, they are like the diamonds unbreakable, except they really are shameless about it and really, they are just embarrassing themselves further without realizing
Oh my, our CANON hetero girlfriend ?! 😎
normal*
It’s only a few people that are complaining 99.9% of the people don’t have any problem with it. Don’t give the 0.1% that much attention.
I always thought like that too. But ultimately we see what happened: Concord, Dustborn, AC: Shadows and MANY more.
These people are proof how influential a small, but loud minority can be. What matters is not to ignore them, but to push back, I think. Not in a hateful way (the Hachama clip is meant as a meme) but by showing how much I like the EP. :)
It’s difficult to have a balance between pushing them back and avoid giving them too much attention. When you give the minority too much attention, that’s basically what they want. But I also understand that by pushing them back, you’ll show them what the majority thinks. People will vote with their money, that’s the best way to show the companies that we don’t want something.
This people are crazy 🙄
I'm amazed how they're not getting tired yet. I'd never have enough energy to produce that much hate in the first place. xd
@@WowMit you'd think they pass out from lack of oxygen after screaming hate and reeee at their screens for seeing a tiny bit of Caesar being straight
@@patheon9541 Ngl, if you put it like that I almost respect them for how consistent they are.
