What helped me improve is recording me play a song and reviewing my mistakes and practicing specific hard note combos. This is especially important for the very hard songs.
@@afk-hero2166 oh I mean that’s around 99% accuracy and that’s still pretty good :) If you haven’t already, turn on the early/late indicator and adjust your offset a bit to it
I'd like to add a tip; try not to rely too much on the crutch characters. Sailor Buro being the most egregious, but Girl in Black and to a lesser extent Bad Girl/Rabbot make the game easier in such a way that they'll actively make it harder to become better. That said, if your goal isn't to AP 11s, don't worry about it. Use whoever you like.
The thing that greatly help me to get better is the listen to my favorite muse dash songs with a video of someone playing the level i'm currently practicing ! It's fun and you get to increase your memorization of the track with the accurate rythm of the game !! :) As I can't play a lot bc of college it really helped !
Great tips! I have been doing all of these tips before and the taking a break once in a while is a big one. Also getting rid of Vsync in the settings helps too cause it screws with your timing/latency
the line thingy in offset (the one that you're setting up for) think of it as the hitbox of the notes and the yellow one as the indicator when hitting notes
I would add, if budget allows, a monitor with higher refresh rate than 60Hz, this makes a world of difference when songs gets faster, enemies look more clear as they approach. Also if playing in TV make sure to use "game mode" picture setting
I only started playing on Pc a few days ago and I notice that there's less latency on Pc than on mobile so I guess I am technically starting from square one again. Thanks for the tips, hopefully, I can get good enough one day where I can Gold S Fanfare on Hard one day.
Thanks for the tips I have 7 hours of muse dash and I can get an S in most 6-7 stars levels Idk if that's good(especially when I'm comparing myself to those rhythm gamers, aka true psychos),I guess progressed quite fast
I was wondering as well if my progress in Muse Dash was fast or average, it took me almost no time to get the hang of songs up to 8* and just a day later, I was FC-ing 9* as well. I guess only 10-11 are the difficulty levels where you start to really get overwhelmed by notes.
I can consistently hit S rank on most songs from 2-5 i got an a for brain power but that's with me abusing the game with the maid skin and the robot rabbit elfin that turns 5 misses into a hit All on mobile
The biggest problem I have is getting accostumed to using 4 keys instead of 2, of course, I just need practice, but still I think that has been the hardest thing for me yet
i understand that! i had a rough time with that as well. this might be a little awkward but on streams try starting with ur middle finger instead of ur pointer. it might help u get used to it!
@@kesicat I've actually started using 4 fingers already and can do it for some songs, like medicine of sing or galaxy striker, it just took a bit for me to get used to it, but thanks, and I'll be sure to try out the tip for the streams, thanks!
Same. My brain just cant comprehend switching between more than 2 buttons lol. Also, ive been using a ps4 controller, is keyboard better to use in the long run? Or does it not matter?
What throws me off about the latency is that in every other rhythm game I play: my latency is 0ms (default) and my accuracy is just fine (Spin Rhythm XD, StepMania, Musynx, etc), but for some weird reason all of my hits are early in Muse Dash.... maybe it's because the horizontal scrolling is still weird, maybe it's the hit receptors being a little too faint for my liking, or maybe I have to disable sound effects (some rhythm games give you more consistent accuracy if you disable sound effects for some reason)..... not sure.
WAIT YOU GET 4 BUTTONS WTF ;-; dude i've spent a month imrpoving my finger dex with just 2 buttons on each hand and I was like some of this shit is impossible. Holy shit thank you. I've played this game since it came out on mobile (only about half a year on pc) I've never known this
im stuck cus theres double and triple notes and im trying 2 keys per level but my brain cant handle alternating watching the track and hitting the notes, all the tracks feel hard now
Problem with Girl in Black is that the timing window becomes so lenient that it not only promotes bad habits but also only makes feel as if you've improved. Speaking from experience: I used it for a very long time when I was starting out, and when I stopped using her, it literally felt like I reversed months in progress.
it's okay to miss notes, it's part of practice. try playing songs that are more relaxed and progressively get to the songs that get faster, it helped me get better.
if you're at the 10 stars I'd recommend playing Plumage Master, that would help you to get accustomed to button spamming. plus its one of the easier 10 stars.
Yeah, break that 2 key habit asap unless you reaaaally want a challenge. It is possible to get up to some 10 stars like this, but some songs are flat out impossible to even fc like master lvl Gospel or Rush B due to same line dual hits
Hey there! Im starting with this game now, and my problem its about to jump de spins 2 times... my char cant jump, down and jump again faster, how can I do it?
3:27 I think despite any level of difficulty u r playing, u should worry a bit about accuracy since Muse Dash is a rhythm game . Accuracy tells u how well u do on following the rhythm of the chart. Overall a very good tips vids for people who want to get better at muse dash
It can honestly differ from person to person. Some people's inputs are early, and some are late; I recommend toggling the option of showing early/late presses on display settings, and you could just adjust it yourself from there
I feel like muse dash doesn't really have that much memorization. Well except for tracks like MARENOL or PeroPero in the Universe. Idk though. Maybe it's my few years of geometry dash experience that makes me think of it as no memorization
the game stops being fun as soon as you can't get through any of the master songs. since there is no practice mode you might as well just delete the game now.
What helped me improve is recording me play a song and reviewing my mistakes and practicing specific hard note combos. This is especially important for the very hard songs.

When you play other rhythm games you can easily beat 9-11 maps. for me 11 is easier compared to the other rhythm game
I appreciate this video thank you

either press the down button manually, or use reimu/marisa (or both, marisa goated)

what exact offset you guys use?
It can honestly differ from person to person. Some people's inputs are early, and some are late; I recommend toggling the option of showing early/late presses on display settings, and you could just adjust it yourself from there
But if you're just wondering out of curiosity, I mostly just stay on the 0 offset since it works fine for me

Is there any trick to get perfect score? I always got great, its a bit hard to get perfect score... By the way i play on mobile
ah there's your problem
What is the game in minute 4:15?
step 1. buy muse dash
step 2. quit and play taiko for a year
step 3: become a fifth dan (at least)
step 4: profit!
